The Straits Times Index (STI) ended -4.99 points lower or -0.15% to 3373.6, taking the year-to-date perform-
ance to +0.25%.
The FTSE ST Mid Cap Index gained +0.20% while the FTSE ST Small Cap Index gained +0.16%. The top active
stocks were SingTel (unchanged), DBS (-0.36%), OCBC Bank (-0.19%), UOB (-0.40%) and Keppel Land
(+0.44%).
The outperforming sectors today were represented by the FTSE ST Utilities Index (+1.23%). The two biggest
stocks of the FTSE ST Utilities Index are United Envirotech (+0.31%) and Hyflux (+0.58%). The underperform-
ing sector was the FTSE ST Industrials Index, which declined -0.74% with Jardine Matheson Holdings ’s share
price declining -1.60% and Jardine Strategic Holdings ’s share price declining-0.35%.
The three most active Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) by value today were the DBXT FT China 25 ETF
(+0.52%), SPDR Gold Shares (-0.17%), STI ETF (unchanged).
