2. Evangelism
ï” The call and ministry of every Christian is to be an
evangelist.
ï” To not witness is to sin because we know we ought to be
doing it (James 4:17).
ï” We canât rely upon our pastor or church to do it because
we are the church. It is our call and our responsibility.
ï” We are ministers of reconciliation, and we will be judged
for our faithfulness in that ministry (2 Corinthians 5:18-
19).
3. Evangelism
ï” Evangelism is telling a sinner (someone who is not saved or
born again;
ï” someone who has not confessed JESUS Christ as their
LORD and Saviour; someone who doesn't believe in JESUS'
CHRIST as their LORD and Saviour: Romans 10:9-10) about
the Gospel of the LORD Jesus, with the sole aim of
convincing them through the help of the HOLY GHOST to
believe in as well as accept JESUS CHRIST as their Saviour
and LORD.
ï” You persuade them to do away with their sins, unrighteous
acts which are not pleasing to GOD.
4. 1. Obedient to the Gospel
ï”The most obvious benefit to
ourselves is that we are obedient
to the Great Commission
5. Matthew 28:19-20
ï”19 Therefore go and make disciples of all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey
everything I have commanded you. And
surely I am with you always, to the very
end of the age."
6. Great Commission
ï”This comes with the added
benefit of the promised presence
of God himself: "I will be with you
always, even until the end of the
age."
7. Obedient to Godâs Great Commission
ï”Share your faith with others. You
will bless them with the offer of the
Lord's
ï”love, grace, mercy, joy, and peace ,
the sharing will bless you
8. 2. Deep understanding of the Gospel
ï”Gospel conversations with non-
Christians force us to better grasp the
central, underpinning truths of Godâs
Word.
9. Deep understanding of the Gospel
ï” Issues like Godâs character, his holiness
and wrath, manâs creation in Godâs
image, sin, grace, the cross of Christ, and
judgment all come into sharp focus.
10. Deep understanding of the Gospel
ï”We have to think through explaining these
concepts to different people in different
circumstances. And we learn better how
these truths lace together all of Scripture
from Genesis to Revelation.
11. Philemon 1:6
ï”Philemon 1:6: âI pray that you may be active in
sharing your faith, so that you will have a full
understanding of every good thing we have in
Christ.â
12. Phil 1:6
ï”Knowing something and explaining it to
someone who doesnât understand it or believe
it are two different things.
ï” These treasured truths become clearer to us
as we explain them to others.
13. Deep Understanding of the Gospel
ï”You will need to study in order to
answer these questions and give reason
for your hope (1 Peter 3:15).
14. 1 Peter 3:15
ï”15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord.
Always be prepared to give an answer to
everyone who asks you to give the reason
for the hope that you have. But do this with
gentleness and respect,
15. 3. Inexplicable joy.
ï”The best cure for sadness and depression is
evangelism.
ï” Go give it a try! The joy that follows it is
matchless (Luke 10:1,17).
ï” Once you win a soul, Heaven goes into
celebration mood (Luke 15:10)
16. Luke 10:1,17
ï”Jesus Sends Out the Seventy-Two
ï” 10 After this the Lord appointed seventy-two
[ a ] others and sent them two by two ahead
of him to every town and place where he was
about to go. 2 He told them, âThe harvest is
plentiful, but the workers are few.
17. (Luke 15:10
ï”10 In the same way, I tell you, there is
rejoicing in the presence of the angels of
God over one sinner who repents.â
18. 4. Divine security
ï”Several times Paul would have been
assassinated, but his relevance to Heaven's
soul growth committed GOD to protect him
by all means.
19. 4.Divine security
ï”He met robbers, he was arrested, there
were plots to assassinate him, he was
imprisoned several times...no surprise
that he came out of all.
20. 4. Divine security
ï” You can't be wasted overnight by
natural or unnatural powers,
occurrences or mishaps when your
life is profitable to GOD in the
evangelical field
21. Acts 18:9-10
ï”Acts 18:9-10.
ï” 9 And the Lord said to Paul one night in a vision,
âDo not be afraid, but go on speaking and do not
be silent, 10 for I am with you, and no one will
attack you to harm you, for I have many in this
city who are my people.â
22. 2 Corinthians 11:23-26
ï”Are they servants of Christ? I am a better
oneâI am talking like a madmanâwith far
greater labours, far more imprisonments, with
countless beatings, and often near death.
ï” Five times I received at the hands of the Jews
the forty lashes less one. Three times I was
beaten with rods.
24. Matthew 21:17-19
ï”17 And he left them and went out of the city to
Bethany, where he spent the night. Jesus Curses a
Fig Tree. 18 Early in the morning, as Jesus was on
his way back to the city, he was hungry. 19 Seeing
a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found
nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it,
âMay you never bear fruit again!â
25. 4. Manifestations of spiritual gifts, especially the
gifts of healing
ï”You can actually begin to experience
spiritual gifts in action while preaching to
souls.
ï”The first time the disciples did healing and
deliverance on their own was while they
went out evangelizing.
26. Manifestations of spiritual gifts, especially
the gifts of healing
ï”At their return, they simply could not
hide their excitement about the
miracles that they "performed". You
want spiritual gifts? Go and win souls!
27. (Luke 16:16)
ï”16 âThe Law and the Prophets were
proclaimed until John. Since that time,
the good news of the kingdom of God
is being preached, and everyone is
forcing their way into it
28. Mark 16:15-16;
ï” 15 He said to them, âGo into all the world and preach the
gospel to all creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized
will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be
condemned
29. 5. Reward in Heaven
ï”You got mansions waiting for you
(John 14:2-3). Crowns of glory also (1
Peter 5:4). Join the queue now. I have
signed up already.
30. (John 14:2-3).
ï” My Fatherâs house has many rooms; if that
were not so, would I have told you that I am
going there to prepare a place for you? 3
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will
come back and take you to be with me that
you also may be where I am.
31. (1 Peter 5:4).
ï”And when the Chief Shepherd appears,
you will receive the crown of glory that
does not fade away.
32. (Matthew 19:27, 29
ï”27 Peter answered him, âWe have left
everything to follow you! What then
will there be for us?
33. Matthew 19:27, 29
ï”29 And everyone who has left houses or
brothers or sisters or father or mother
or wife[e] or children or fields for my
sake will receive a hundred times as
much and will inherit eternal life.
34. 5. Eternal life
ï”Spreading the Gospel in truth and righteousness
further cements your place in the Heavenly
admission list...the Book of Life.
ï”The LORD Jesus affirmed this to the evangelising
disciples in simple terms. This is the greatest
benefit of all! Press for it..the ultimate prize!
35. (Luke 10:20;
ï”20 However, do not rejoice that the
spirits submit to you, but rejoice that
your names are written in heaven.
36. Philippians 3:14; 4:3-4)
ï”14 I press on toward the goal to win
the prize for which God has
called me heavenward in Christ
Jesus.

ï”3 Yes, and I ask you, my true companion, help these
women since they have contended at my side in the
cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the
rest of my co-workers, whose names are in the book
of life.
ï”4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again:
Rejoice!
38. 6. Key to accessing a long-awaited
breakthrough
ï” (Matthew 6:33).
ï”33 But seek first his kingdom and his
righteousness, and all these things will
be given to you as well.
39. Key to accessing a long-awaited
breakthrough
ï”Aren't you being too self-centred?
ï”Always asking and never doing anything for
GOD.
40. Key to accessing a long-awaited
breakthrough
ï”Winning a soul attracts Divine intervention in your
life.
ï” It is one sure way to a receiving a miraculous
answer to a dragging problem.
ï” Go for a trial now. Be consistent

are the feet of him that bringeth
good tidings, that publisheth
peace..."
