This document provides information about the first laboratory for the ANAT 321 Neuroanatomy Lab course. The lab will cover the dorsal and ventral views of the brainstem, including the medulla, pons, and midbrain, as well as cranial nerves. Students will learn directional terminology and examine slides of the brainstem. The lab exam will test material from both the laboratory sessions and myelin stained sections, with 50% of the exam covering each topic area. Contact information is provided for the lab coordinator should students have any additional questions.
