authority in heaven and on earth has been given
to me. Therefore go and make disciples…”
19. Divine Boldness
(1) Know your divine authority and position:
I also pray that you will understand the incredible
greatness of God’s power for us who believe him.
This is the same mighty power that raised Christ
from the dead and seated Him in the place of
honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.
Now He is far above all rule and authority, power
and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not
only in the present age but also in the one to come.
Ephesians 1:19-21
20. Divine Boldness
(1) Know your divine authority and position:

Isaiah 41:10

Being a witness will cost us

Have you ever been in fear? Story about going up to Bario. Fear is something we all share. Some are more irrational than others.
Fear was something the disciples went through.

What was the result.. You’d think they’d be confident.. But when the soldiers came to arrest Jesus.. They ran..
How did this bunch of scardy cats turn the world upside down? How did Peter who ran away from a little girl become a proponent of spreading the gospel?
Acts 1:1 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit enabled them. Peter stood “Fellow Jews and all who live in Jerusalem.”
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
