2. Proverbs 13:11 Wealth
gotten
by vanity shall be
diminished: but he that
gathereth by labor shall
increase.
When we earn what we
get we appreciate it more,
and we will have more
tendency to make it last.

3. To work and work hard is not against our religion.
Ephesians 4 28 Let him that stole steal no more:
but rather let him labor, working with his hands the
thing which is good (productive; of benefit), that he
may have to give to him that needeth.
Ecclesiastes 3 13 That everyone may eat and drink,
and find satisfaction in all his toil -- this is the gift
of God. (NIV)
Working in the right spirit brings satisfaction.

4. Ecclesiastes 9 10 Whatever your hand finds to do,
do it with all your might, for in the grave, where
you are going, there is neither working nor
planning nor knowledge nor wisdom. (NIV)
Our hands and mind must have
something productive to do, if
we are to find satisfaction in life.

5. Proverbs 13:11 Wealth
gotten by vanity shall be
diminished: but he that gathereth by labor shall
increase.
This verse is a warning.
Easy money is not a godly desire.
Letâs work with good will, happy to have a job.
A godly worker will be on time, work hard, be
dependable, trustworthy, and generous.

6. 12 Hope
deferred maketh the heart sick: but when
the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
It is painful to wait on something we desire, but
when it comes it is wonderful.
First
child
Wait for
healing.
Wait on God to move for
you; He will provide.

7. 13 Whoso
despiseth the Word shall be destroyed:
but he that feareth the Commandment shall be
rewarded.
We choose what we get with the way we live.
Anyone who despises the Word of God is choosing
trouble in this life â even Christians.
Godâs Word warns us against a life of trouble.
âBe not drunk.â
âFlee fornication.â
âDonât lie, cheat, steal, or kill.â
7
8. 14 The
law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart
from the snares of death.
Be sober-minded
Control your spirit; be temperate.
Live a life of godly moderation.
8
9. 15 Good
understanding giveth favor: but the way of
transgressors is hard.
You ignore the Word of God at your own peril.
Wrong thinking or wrong mindset.
Wrong talking; speak good words.
Bad attitude leads to wrong behavior
When anyone chooses to go this way,
He or she is choosing a hard way.

11. 16 Every
prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but
a fool layeth open his folly.
(TLB) 16 A wise man thinks ahead; a fool doesnât
and even brags about it!
