The Sabarkantha district is located in the northern part of Gujarat. This
district had a population of 24,28,589 according to the 2011 census.
Recently it has been declared as Arvalli diostrict which includes Modasa and
other 5 taluka .
It covers an area of 7,390 sq. km. Ninety percent of the population is rural.
The main occupations of these people are dairy ,farming and agriculture..

It has been made routine to use ICT in in-service and regular pre-
service training programs during classroom teaching.
 In communication with GCERT,HNGU,NAAC,NCTE,UGC,CHEG,etc e-
mail IDs are used.All the staff members use their e-mail IDs for
communications.
DELL(Digital Education Learning Laboratory) has been established in
2012- 13 by SCOPE,Education Department of Government of Gujarat.
There are ten internet connections deployed by BSNL under MoU with
GoG.
 Computer Laboratory coordinator has been appointed by EDUCOM
from june-2013.
 All the student teachers are expected to use ICT based teaching-
laerning process in classrooms of practice teaching schools.
Even in training programs of CTE all the experts in various subjects
are expected to use ICT,may be power point presentation or OHP and
transparencies.

TRAINING PROGRAMS 20 It has been made routine to use ICT in in-service and regular pre- service training programs during classroom teaching.  In communication with GCERT,HNGU,NAAC,NCTE,UGC,CHEG,etc e- mail IDs are used.All the staff members use their e-mail IDs for communications. DELL(Digital Education Learning Laboratory) has been established in 2012- 13 by SCOPE,Education Department of Government of Gujarat. There are ten internet connections deployed by BSNL under MoU with GoG.  Computer Laboratory coordinator has been appointed by EDUCOM from june-2013.  All the student teachers are expected to use ICT based teaching- laerning process in classrooms of practice teaching schools. Even in training programs of CTE all the experts in various subjects are expected to use ICT,may be power point presentation or OHP and transparencies.
