1) Stewardship is properly managing all areas of our Christian lives and the church.
2) Stewardship is represented by an old cart wheel, with Jesus at the center as the axle supporting everything.
3) The doctrines of the church spread out from Jesus like the spokes of a wheel, and the three angels' messages form the rim being spread to the world. Proper holiness and living according to sound doctrine is symbolized by the iron band protecting the wheel.

Romans: 13:7,8
ââGive to everyone what you owe them: If you owe
taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if
respect, then respect; if honor, then honor. Let no
debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt
to love one another, for whoever loves others has
fulfilled the law."

Stewardship
Stewardship is properly managing the Christian life.
All the areas of our lives and of Church are involved in
stewardship.
Letâs study the role of stewardship with the analogy of an
old cart wheel.
3. âJesus Christ is the same
yesterday, today, and
forever.â (Hebrews 13:8)
The wheelâour Christian livesâcannot
work without an axle that supports it. Our
axle is Jesus.
Jesus must be the center and the support
of everything we think of and do. We can
do nothing without Him (John 15:5)
Jesus is changing our lives and shaping
our characters which have eternal
consequences.
The whole Bible is about Jesus (John
5:39). He is the center and the
foundation of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Everything in this world was created by
Him, and we are alive thanks to Him
(Colossians 1:16-18)
4. The axle box is a metal enclosure which
revolves around the axle. It includes
the bearings and the wheel hub.
The Sanctuary helps us to understand
the work of Jesus in our favor. It also
gives us the assurance we need to fully
trust Him.
By studying the Sanctuary, we
understand Jesusâ substitutionary
atonement, redemption, the role of the
Law, the Judgment... Thatâs a strong
anchor that helps us to apply the
stewardship principles to our lives.
THE AXLE BOX
âWe have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the
inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has
entered on our behalf. He has become a high priest forever, in the order of
Melchizedek.â (Hebrews 6:19-20 NIV)
5. âTherefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were
taught, whether by word or our epistle.â (2 Thessalonians 2:15)
The fundamental doctrines
radiate from the great truth
of salvation by faith in
Jesus, like the spokes of a
wheel radiate from its
center.
Paul encouraged us to keep
and live the doctrine that is
based on the Truthâthat is,
in Jesus Christâ (John 14:6)
and in the Bible (John
17:17)
As faithful stewards, we
must live according to
âsound doctrineâ (Titus
2:1)
6. THE RIM
âHere is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the
commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.â(Revelation 14:12)
The members of the remnant church
(Revelation 12:17) have a special
message to spread (Revelation 14:6-11),
always based on Jesus and with a strong
doctrinal foundation.
The hour of the judgment has
come, and we must worship the
Creator.
The world has rejected the
truth.
We are justified by faith and we
must stand firm by obeying
Godâs commandments.
7. THE IRON
BAND
The Romans found out that wooden wheel
rims quickly wore away because of the
direct contact with the road. They added an
iron band around the wheel to protect it
and make it more effective.
We are called to spread a message of
judgment. That kind of message is not easily
accepted.
âbut as He who called you is holy, you
also be holy in all your conduct.â
(1Peter 1:15)
The iron band is a symbol of the
holiness of the stewards that are called
to bring that last message from God to
the world.
People will be willing to listen to our
message if they see men and women
who live like Christ did.
8. âUpon every believer in present truth
rests the responsibility of working for
sinners. God points them to their special
workâthe proclamation of the third
angelâs message. They are to show their
appreciation of Godâs great gift by
consecrating themselves to the work for
which Christ gave His life. They are to be
stewards of the grace of God, dispensing
to others the blessings bestowed on
them.â
