2. Curly Kale – 1 large bunch
3. Sunflower Seeds – 1 cup
For the Dressing
1. Crushed Garlic – 1-2 cloves
2. Lemon Juice (freshly squeezed) – 3-4 tbsps
3. Extra Virgin Olive Oil – 3-4 tbsps
4. Sea salt – ½ tsp
5. Black Pepper (crushed) – to taste
3. Now for the Procedure:
• Soak the sunflower seeds in water 6 to 8 hours before preparing the salad.
• Chop the Kale and place in a large bowl.
• Dice the avocado.
• Mix together the garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper in a separate
bowl.
• Add the dressing mixture to the kale and massage with your hands.
• Drain the sunflower seeds and add to the kale.
• Add the diced avocado.
• Toss together and serve.
