Global Halal market is 3.6 trillion dollars with over
1.6 billion Halal-product consumers worldwide. Over
90% share of Halal market is captured by the non-
Muslim countries while top 10 exporters of halal
products in the Middle East are also non-Muslims.
Halal Certification will enhance the marketability of
Pakistani products. PTI-led Government of Pakistan
should establish National Halal Authority that would
facilitate the growth of exports of Halal products.
