show the most common plants of Poland,
which grow in our area.
3. It is a herbaceous
perennial plant
native to North
America. It is often
grown as a
wildflower. The plant
is erect, often
forming colonies.
Flowers are small and
yellow.

in the family
Asteraceae, which is
grown in temperate
regions of the
Northern Hemisphere.
You can see it in
many places of
Poland.

7. It is a species of the
genus Sorbus, native
to most of Europe,
except for the far
south. It is very
common in Poland.

deciduous tree,
commonly known
as a horse-chestnut
or conker. It comes
from the Balkan
Peninsula. It grows
in almost all parts
of Europe,
including Poland.

11. It is a species of maple
native to eastern and
central Europe and
also the southwest
Asia. It can be
commonly seen in
Polish parks.

13. Commonly called the
cucumbertree,
cucumber magnolia
or blue magnolia, is
one of the largest
magnolias. It is a tree
that tends to occur
singly as scattered
specimens, rather
than in groves.
