This document discusses valorization and entrepreneurship at Delft University of Technology and Leiden Institute of Biology. Entrepreneurship
• Yes! Delft mainly focused on mechanical
engineering students at that time, scalable
companies
• ICT startups needed another approach with
different timelines
• DIRECT offered a 9 months pre incubation program
in an empty hallway in our building, easy access to
local ICT entrepreneurs (coaching), offering living
examples, access to Delft University facilities,
awareness trips to Silicon Valley together with Yes!
