Goobi is digitization workflow management software developed by the Göttingen State and University Library (Germany). It provides a modular, web-based system for digitizing collections according to metadata and file standards. The software was created for the RusDML project and has been in production use by the Göttingen Digitization Center since 2006. It allows libraries to configure scanning and metadata workflows tailored to their projects' needs and provides transparency into progress and bottlenecks.
