We’ve always targeted webspam in our rankings, and this algorithm represents another improvement in our efforts to reduce webspam and promote high quality content.” But according to industry experts and analysts, although this new update may not be primarily for penalty purposes and is just for eliminating spam – the effects are virtually the same.
