It is a Branding project which I proceed during
exchange student program to Musashino Art
University. The exhibition of the tile was 'ZEMITEN'
and I participated as a student of Siraishi zemi.
Siraisi zemi mainly looked into aplying cognitive
Psycology to the design field.
As an exchange student from Korea and east asian
country, I wanted to make a work disccusing and
embracing Korea, Japan, China. I thought a thing
that can embrace their Life style, Human relation,
Langauage and value and also have different point
was drinking culture.
I did a reaserach for 3 asian countries` traditional
alcohol, packaging, color, typeface to find their
common features and different points.
The goal of this project was to make a brand
shows a common features and to design a product
demonstrates their cultural individualtiy. Therefore
I named this brand name as 'Geonbae, Kanpai,
Gamebei' that is common word of 3 asian countries`
meaning 'cheers'

Today, I want to rest
Today, I want to rest is an imaginary design studio
which was made by yoonjung cho, hyunjung lee,
hyoju yeo. It was a school project named practice
design studio.
The slogan of Today, I want to rest is ‘Every time,
Do whatever you really want Happily and
Comfortably’ Most of design studios do their work
in order to clients request, but Today, I want to
rest has a difference. We decide the keyword every
month, and accept contact from client which is
related to our monthly keyword.
We set our working time to do work more happily
and comfortably. I am a type of person who like
to work at noon, Hyoju wants to work at morning
and hyeonjung wants to work at night. So our
meeting progresses when our working times meet.

「Love letter」 scenario book design
‘Love letter’ is my favorite movie and I like
recommending it to my friends. So I designed the
scenario book of the Love letter.
The Love letter has a special narrative structure,
the story goes on by the letter exchanged by the
characters. I wanted to express it to typography
because I`ve been touched by the scene showing two
women sharing the memory of 'the man’ by a letter.

Rebranding Project of QuickQuick
It is a Branding project which I proceed during

University. The name of the class was Business
tool Design.
Business tool Design is consisted of two steps,
Contacting to a company that student want to
design then get the business tool item from them
and considerate the problem of present design of
it then redesigning based on reflection.
QuickQuick is a Start-up Document Delivery
Service ordered by Online system. The present
design of QuickQuick doesn`t look fast because
of the color and logotype and a duck which is the
character of quickquick doen`t match their Value.
Therefore I redesigned their Identity to express
their fastness and reliabiltiy.

Pickture
Nowadays, smart devices are involved in most
activities of children, from playing to studying.
However, these technologies have caused children to
stay indoors most of their time.
Pickture is an application that helps children go
outside and enjoy outdoor activities. The mission of
the game is to take a picture of objects found
outdoors such as a leaf or flower and to upload it.
once you clear the mission, you can move on to
the next level and you`ll get some coin. The picture
you take will be immediately uploaded onto
Pickture and you can share your picture. As the users
are children from different countries and different
climates, even with the same mission, the pictures
can be very different.
Other users can visit your MyPage and look through
your pictures and your character. With your coin that
you received from the mission, you can customize
your character on MyPage.

I was involved in this project when I was an intern
at design studio named CARPO. I was in charge
of designing vertical banners, web banners and
arranging pictures on the workbook.
Festival 284 was a cultural festival that is held at
culture station 284. The festival was consisted of
play, performance, music and pavilion. 88 teams
from 5 countries participated in the festival.
I disposed visual elements to look active in order
to show the activeness of the festival. The visual
element`s composition seen on the banner means
an extension of Seoul culture station 284.

Dutch coffee refers to the process of steeping coffee
grounded in room temperature or cold water for an
extended period. I visualized Dutch coffee extraction
machine as curved lines, and coffee drops comes
from machine as small dots.
This product is planned for a gift, so I designed this
package more luxurious than the package which
normally found on the market.

Print Advertisement
The artworks in this section is printed advertisement
which was created when I participated in an
advertising club named Adrenalin in my school.
1) This is an advertisement for people to encourage
abandoned animal adoption. People who have
experienced adoption of an animal usually say that
they begin to feel secured after they adopting their
animal. So I visualized this phenomenon by using
line drawing that could remind of the process of
improving their loneliness.
2) It is an advertisement about women`s and black`s
rights. I parodied Edward Manet`s Olympia because
It was blamed by lots of people for not satisfying
their standard of beauty in those days. Many people
blamed it for exposure or naked body of women,
but they wanted women to fulfill their standard of
beauty. I wanted to express this ironical aspect of
society with the woman concealed by the power
and enforcement to be a ‘Venus’ that is a symbol of
beauty. The person who is painting the woman is a

It is a small project consists of 7 images of a story.
The story I wanted to tell is how a space ship reaches
to the universe. I wanted to try unusual expression,
so I tried long-exposure to make an image that
matches the universe. I used flash lights and
cellophane to express a lot of colors.

HANCOM is a company producing a software for
Korean E-documents.
The logo`s keyword made by my team ‘Today, I want
to rest’ is transparency, familiarity and overlapping.
My team researched the images related to those
the keyword in order to make a new logo. The
team found similarity between transparent glass or
bubbles and the keywords. So our team made a logo
inspired by transparent things.
After we finished establishing logo and brand
identities, the team made mock ups for office
supplies, posters and mobile UI. We used a logo and
their color for making patterns and graphic elements
to visualize HANCOM`s new brnad image.

I have made some graphic posters for school lecture
report.
1) This poster is a report for a lecture of Haecheon
Park who is a design theorist. He said Korean
society is facing conflicts to take a possession of
the land. So I visualized those circumstances as
the mark representing possessed land.
2) This poster is a report for a lecture of Woohyuk
Park who is a graphic designer. He said ‘Design
has no answer.’ I deeply impressed by his
comment, so I designed this poster showing
his comment simply.
3) This poster is a report for a lecture of Mingoo
Yoon who is a type designer. I tried to express his
intensive comment, ‘Do if I can, not do if I can`t’
4) Woohyuk Park said ‘What I can work is one or two
things among the ten things’ I emphasized ‘can’ and
‘work’ to make it looks like piling.
5) This poster is a report for the documentary
‘human scale’. People in modern city are easily
crushed by cars, even though they are the owner
of the city. I wanted to express the cruel reality of
the modern city.
6) This poster is a report for a documentary about
Georges Rousse. His art expresses trace of time
that can be found in the space. I made this poster
to visualize trace of time.
