1st Sunday of Advent.
John Paul 11 Awards
Congratulation to Michael Munnelly, Cormac Gilligan and Mark Kilcawley who
received the John Paul 11 award recently in Summerhill College. The three took part
in our Folk Choir and helped with Reading to complete the award in our Parish.
Every Blessing in the future. Our Parish is happy to help and support any young
person who wished to complete the award in our Parish.

Party night, with Flower demo by Linda Lyon's N.A.F.S.a., title 'Christmas
Festivities' in SligoPark Hotel on Monday 4th December at 8pm. Non members

Taize Prayer for Advent
Taize Prayer and reflection in Candlelight will take place in our Church this
Thursday 7th December beginning at 7.00pm. This is one evening of reflection for
Advent which will help us to prepare for the birth of Jesus.Please come along and
take a liitle time away from the world in prayer and reflection. The evening will be
lead by Colette Furlong, Sligo Parishes.
2. Sale of Work
A Sale of Work will take place in St. Enda's National School on Friday 8th December
beginning after 10am Morning Mass. Many items including Christmas gifts, Books
and food items will be for sale. Proceeds are in aid of the school.
All are welcome to come along and support our school.

Annual General Meeting takes place in the Riverside Hotel beginning
at 7pm. Refreshments and chat afterwards to round off a great year

Parish Choir
Both our Parish and Folk Choir are looking for new members. The
Parish Choir meets on Mondays for rehearsal and the Folk Choir
on Sunday at 11.00am. If you can sing please join and support our
liturgy.

Advent Retreat takes place on December 9th beginning at 10.30am -4.30pm.Light

Reclaiming Tax on Your Donation - Form sent Out
Tax forms have been sent out in the post last week for all the parishioners who are
eligible. Please fill in the following:

Sing the Form
You can return the from via the Sunday Collection, to the sacristy or Presbytery. So
far 37 forms have been returned. If you receive a form, please return it to us ASAP.
Divine Mercy Novena
If you are free on Friday at 3pm why not join the Divine Mercy Novena in
our Church. Prayers and reflections offered in memory of the Divine Mercy.

Tobernalt Holy Well
We are in the early stages of working on a suitable plaque and prayer for
the Holy Family Shrine at the Holy Well as we prepare for the World
Meeting of Families next year. This prayer will invite all families to focus on
the World Meeting of Families and pray for our own families and their
needs.
