9. Alternative Spring Break Alternative Spring Break is the most applied for Program at C.A.V.E. Which is great because the usual spring for college students often involves not the most optimal choices. This specific program allows students to display great Critical Action as they are able to first handily experience cultural and social difference. Students travel nationally to experience volunteering on almost a completely different environment then their own personal community. The program has gained strong interest in students after such student enthusiasm from conversations from students who have experienced the trip themselves. The program has traveled to the south, Louisiana, or the East to New York and Washington D.C where they experienced homelessness. This program gives students a whole new concept of volunteering and outreach to society, making it a difficult program to embark in.
11. Need in the Community The importance of volunteer education is vital to young adults who are growing in their own personal and career growth. Volunteer Organizations such as C.A.V.E allow students the opportunity to grow in outdoor experiences, allowing interaction between them and their own community. This creating a strong relationship with themselves and the community and allowing them to grow within their own capacity and interest. Students are able to see their efforts become before them and help them establish own personal goals to reach.

13. What is My Connection? Being a College Student myself I have ventured into volunteering. I had the opportunity to work with C.A.V.E and increase my education through the organization. As a freshmen in college I was able to travel to New Orleans and help Hurricane Katrina victims, in the task to rebuild their community. I will never forget this experience as it has helped me open my eyes and recognize the need for community support, I will carry those images with me throughout my life. “Life is for Learning is C.A.V.E’s motto and through this trip this quote became a realization. Critical Action became a vital role with the realization that we can make a difference NOW and not just in the Future.
18. Thank you! I hope this has convinced you to Volunteer and increase your own life’s experiences.
