It was awesome, Would definitely recommend others to
get involved. Enjoyed collaborating with the med
student, knowing they were going through the same
expreience and were no better or worse than the
nursing student.
…. It was so real having the actor there that it made
you think that you were in a real situation…
…The fact that you could watch the video back made
you reflect on your performance.

The whole experience was great and very helpful. It
was something I had not experienced in the clinical
setting and to collaborate with a med student who was
in the same situation was the highlight.

I did the clinic with Dr X yesterday and it was awesome, he asked the students
to work together and gather information about the patients current medical
status as well as any family and medical history, then we collaborated as to
what the possible condition the patient is suffering from as well as the possible
treatments.
It was very interesting, for myself as a nursing student, to see this side of the
medical profession, as normally we are at the end of the process, when the
patient is already hospitalized, this clinical enables us to see how, why and what
placed them in our care.

Being able to follow one patient over 3 hrs through different disciplines (GP,
podiatry, exercise physiologist) make me a lot more aware of how important
cross-disciplinary treatments
I was surprised to learn that such a place exists with all the specialists in their
respective fields in one place to work on each patient as a whole person.
