Universidad de los Andes was founded in 1948 in Bogota, Colombia as the first non-confessional private university. It aims to achieve academic excellence through cutting edge teaching and research programs. The university has 9 faculties offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and over 12,000 undergraduate students and 3,000 postgraduate students. The main campus covers 142,316 square meters and includes classrooms, laboratories, libraries and other facilities to support students and faculty.
