  2. 2. Register Now1. Go to www.socialsalesmap.com2. Click on «Register Now»3. Fill in registration form4. Read and agree to the subscription agreement5. Click «Register»Done. You will receive an eMailconfirmation.
  3. 3. Activate Your Account Once your personal account is being created, you will receive an eMail. 1. Just follow the activation link 2. Login with your Username and Password Done. Enjoy working with SocialSalesMap®. Tip: At login, use the «Forgot Your Password?» function to receive a new password by eMail.
  4. 4. Manage Your MapsBy default, a first map has been createdfor you.1. To access a list of all available maps, click «map» in main menu, then «open»2. To create a different map, click «new»Tip: Check for available sample maps to learn from.
  5. 5. Visualize Your NetworkSelect any object on the map to editrelated information.1. Objects of the same company are characterized by identical colour2. Teams are represented as larger circles3. Contacts are represented by small circles and a personal name or function shortcut, i.e. CEOTip: To move teams or contacts, left-click and hold.
  6. 6. Build your Map There are 3 options to add  companies, teams, contacts and/or relationships to your map. 1. Just click on the buttons to the left 2. Right-click on any map object to see a list of available functions. 3. In the main menu, go to «insert»  Tip: Use keyboard shortcuts to navigate the main menu.
  7. 7. Enter Relationships Complete your network by adding relevant relationships. 1. Click «insert relationship» 2. Mouseover another team or contact 3. Click to establish connection 4. Set relationship type and intensity on the folder to the right Tip: You can also hold «shift» key and click on any object to insert a new relationship.
  8. 8. Assess Your NetworkOnce your sales network is built, you canstart to assess it.1. Set the influence level of each contact in the «contact» folder.2. Estimate the pro/contra position of your contacts.3. Click «Refresh SSI» button to re- calculate the overall importance (SSI=SocialSalesIndex).Tip: The SSI rank sorts all contacts by level ofimportance
  9. 9. Analyze Your Network1. In the main menu, go to «view» and click «Matrix»2. Mouseover any contact for her name and role3. If needed, update influence/position level in the «contact» folder to the rightTip: Use the company checkbox to the left to filterthe contacts.
  10. 10. Manage ActionsNow it’s time to define the best salesstrategy and action plan.1. Go to «Insert» on the main menu and click «action»2. Or right click on a team or contact3. Edit status and due date on the «action» folder to the right4. To see a list of all actions, go to the «Actions» view in main menuTip: To see the number of open actions directly onthe map, activate the «action» layer.
  11. 11. CollaborateYou can collaborate with collegues andpartners on Your SocialSalesMap®.1. Go to «User» in the main menu, click «Manage»2. In the pop-up, click on «invite»3. Simply enter the eMail-address and click «OK»Done. The invitee will get access to thespecific map.Tip: Don’t forget to invite your partners as well.

Activate map «Layer», to also see influence, position, importance, names or roles directly on the map3.
