references will result in a deduction of points.For this assignment, you are required to
create an Annotated Bibliography consisting of three sources.THE SOURCES YOU ARE
RESEARCHING ARE IN SUPPORT OF THE PAPER YOU WILL WRITE BASED UPON THE
“MINOR RESEARCH ESSAY PROMPT” FOUND IN THE COURSE DOCUMENTS FOLDER.Source
#1 will be the article, “Gentrification: The New Colonialism in the Modern Era.” (NOTE: MLA
reference information for citing this article is provided as a separate document in the
Course Documents tab.)Sources #2 & #3 will be newspaper and/or magazine articles you
secure through research. (Please note that I recommend using the Library databases to
perform your research. EBSCO is a particularly useful database. Your Librarians can assist
you with accessing and utilizing the databases.)Each bibliographic reference in your
Annotated Bibliography will be followed by a two paragraph annotation.Each paragraph in
your annotation must be 100-150 words in length. (Please note that assignments that fail to
meet the minimum required word length earn a summary grade of “Fail.”) Please note that
the bibliographic reference at the head each entry does not count toward the required word
count. (Since you are writing two paragraphs for each source, you will be writing between
200 and 300 words per source.)The first paragraph of each annotation must briefly
summarize the source.The second paragraph of each annotation must briefly explain how
you intend to utilize the source material in your proposed essay.Please note that all
