New dealer onboarding presentation 2015
1. Welcome to the Best Bath Systems network of dealers!
We are pleased to have you as part of our growing team.
2. Best Bath Systems
Please take a few moments to go through this presentation
to learn about the full line of Best Bath products available
to your customers. We offer bath and shower systems for
all individuals, regardless of mobility level.
3. With Best Bath Systems, you can
offer your customers
Valve packages
Seats
The WaterStopper
Grab Bars
Custom Tile inlay options
Custom Tile Accents
4. Strength of Composite Walls
We are proud to make all of
our products in the USA
using a five-step lamination
process.
5. Gelcoat Finish (color)
Gelcoat provides a
luxurious look and feel for
the end user. Our products
are easy to clean and are
naturally resistant to mold
and mildew.
The gelcoat finish is more
durable and uniform than
acrylic, and is easier to
repair.
6. Optional Accenting
Your customers can get the
customized look they want
with custom accenting.
With the nearly unlimited
number of accent-color
options, the end user can
design, or improve the look
of their existing bathroom.
7. Barrier Coat
Best Bath Systems is proud to be an
industry leader in including a barrier coat
in its products, ensuring a consistent
product surface for your customers.
Adds strength to the surface and improves
the visual appearance.
Over time, acrylic will degrade and the
shine will diminish. With the support of the
barrier coat, the gelcoat finish will maintain
the original appearance and shine.
Eliminates print through to ensure a
smooth finish. Print through occurs when
the texture of fiberglass is visible through
the outer surface of the unit.
8. Schedule One Laminate
This combination of
fiberglass and resin
adhesive is applied using
an open molding process.
We roll the fiberglass-
resin mix onto the mold to
eliminate the potential for
air pockets, further
enhancing the quality and
durability of the finished
product.
9. 3/8” Plywood Core/Backing
Allows for a much more
rigid and durable product.
Accommodates an
individual’s desire to “age
in place”. Grab bars can be
installed wherever
necessary without the
need to find a stud
Eliminates the need for
greenboard or backing
10. Schedule Two Laminate
Reinforces the structural
integrity of the unit,
bonding to the plywood
backing and the schedule-
one laminate.
The plywood is now
encapsulated, not
exposed, and will stay
strong and not degrade
due to external elements.
11. Best Bath Systems ensures uniform coverage at all layers
by measuring and verifying the thickness of each layer.
Quality-control measures ensure uniform delivery of resin
and fiberglass
13. Preleveled Pans
All of our pans are
preleveled at the factory for
smooth installation. To
ensure proper installation
and draining, it is critical the
floor is level at the site
Leveling block
14. Presloped Pans
Best Bath’s pans are also
presloped to drain and do
not require any thin set,
mud set, or mortar to obtain
proper drain flow and
rigidity. This provides for a
simpler, smoother, and
faster installation
15. The floor of every pan has
a non-slip texture that is
tested to meet the ASTM
F-526-1994 standard for
slip resistance
16. Low-threshold Pan
Our low-threshold pan is for
thresholds of 1.25” or less.
This pan has a high-density
polyurethane composite
backing and epoxies to the
subfloor
18. Traditional Pan
If your customer is looking
for a threshold height
greater than 1.25” in a
shower, our Traditional Pan
is the answer. It is available
in the heights of:
1.5” 1.75” 2” 2.25”
5.75”
With the exception of 5.75”,
all of these threshold
heights are considered
Barrier Free for ease of entry
and exit.
19. Traditional Pan
Our Traditional Pan is
constructed with a process
similar to our Low-threshold
Pan for durability and
quality. No epoxy is needed
for installation of the
Traditional Pan.
