DEMENTIA #1
Dementia or technically called ‘ loss of mind’, a mental problem. The signs vary with the cause and kind
depending on what part of the brain is affected.
Some of the common symptoms are:
1. Increasing loss of memory
2. The inability to learn
3. Inability to pay attention to ongoing events
4. Inability to use proper judgment
These changes are not psychological but organic by the physical changes in the brain.
If the following changes are observed already to our old relatives, we need to have our heart in
them so proper help can be given.
Dementia can also be a consequence of alcoholism, vitamin b12 deficiency, advanced syphilis,
multiple sclerosis and brain tumours.
ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE#2
Alzheimer’s disease is most common of all dementia or loss of mind. It is disturbing and
frustrating, progressive where the victim will lose more and more of their ability to act
independently although the rate of deterioration differ from person to person.
The cause of this degenerative disease of the brain is unknown, It begins usually after age of 45,
with mood changes and mild memory loss and eventually lead to complete incapacitation.
In the early stages of the disease, a patient can be helped to cope with his illness and can be
given drugs to reduce such symptoms as depression, anxiety and agitation.
Everyone associated with an Alzheimer’s disease needs help and guidance.
Early diagnosis is the first step in providing help.
TRUE LOVE CARES EVEN AT OLD AGE
How many of you friends in bubble world observe old people at least 60 above around who are still
together in their married life and still sweet as they are before?

What I’m trying to say here is about the story on TV about a couple who displayed true love even at
senescence. The man suffered already his dementia and still was cared by his wife. Then came a time he
lost his way back home.
The test of love was seen then when the woman still looked for him even it took almost a month of
searching until such time a social media helped a lot when she was posted with the picture of her
husband stuck on her body.
What a dramatic reunion came then when he was found.

What made me depressed also is when you also suffered error 504, you repeated the submission which
is not known to us it was already done. So, what happened then there you, doubled, tripled and much to

other side they were good also in the receiving of bribery, graft, embezzlement, backdoor deals,
nepotism and patronage.
Philippines, according to 2008 of Bank study is the worst among East Asian countries.

CHARACTERISTIC OF A LEADER DIFFERENTIATED FROM AUTOCRATIC TO DEMOCRATIC
Autocratic leader is greedy for publicity- Such leader who is always seen in front wanting to be known
for all that he did.
He wants everything known and be famous of all that he did.
Such person is striving to be the doer of all and received all credits.
However, a democratic leader is a person who shared some tasks to other members.
A person who delegates work so that other could participate and share his own abilities and can be a
part in the success of a task also.

HEALTH PROBLEMS
Food shortage, overcrowding, poor water supply and environmental pollutions affect the health of
people, particularly the children.
Poor environmental sanitation is a major cause of diseases such as typhoid, diarrhea , tuberculosis,
hepatitis, pneumonia, and cholera or mostly respiratory and even skin diseases.
Others also are mumps, chicken pox, cough that are common to occur in a place not clean.
In an overcrowded places, we observed some sickly children queuing in the health centers so pitiful
with their conditions.
Just last night I saw on TV how a doctor treated children in the slum areas who are not even receiving
proper treatment due to lack of medical supplies from the government and obviously can’t afford to buy
with their own.
Some even died untreated.
The reasons behind is one disease can easily transfer from one another due to the congestion therein.
It easily become epidemic, Even, in flu when one sneezes or coughs, others would then be affected due
to the virus carried within.

CALAMITIES
Other factor that disturbs the ecological balance is the occurrence of this whether by natural or man -
made.
A calamity is an extremely destructive event, often accompanied by a loss of lives and properties.
A natural calamity is one that arises from natural causes like typhoons, floods, landslides, earthquakes,
volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, and forest fires caused by lightning during summer months.
There are also man made calamities that which is due to human destructive activities like deforestation,
quarrying, mining, and among others that trigger landslide during rainy season.
Erosion leads to siltation of rivers, followed by flood after a heavy downpour.
Worst are the man – made due to greediness and the strong desire of great wealth, forests are
denuded, mountains are mined and quarried to the point of destructing the natural landforms.
Many are the reports of people died on landslides, in areas where no more trees are protecting the land
from erosion even in not so heavy rains.
TREES ARE NEEDED AND THE ABOVE HUMAN ACTIVITIES MUST BE TAKEN INTO A GREAT WATCH
BEFORE ALL THINGS WILL JUST DISAPPEAR WITHOUT OTHERS KNOWING.

SIN- Committed some mistakes and transgressions unconfessed to God.
DEATH- Afraid to die not prepared to face God.
With all of the above things that caused heart aches, God has promise to all of us. In Him there’s victory
and we’ll just entrust all to Him.
Acceptance of the things, believing there’s purpose of everything, anything can be overcome.

These things listed above are just examples of gifts that each one of us may have or may have not. We
are entrusted or bestowed by God to these gifts and the question is, DID WE EXERCISE THESE OR SOME
OF THESE GIFTS IN OUR LIVES?

HOW TO GROW SPIRITUALLY?
Just like babies, they don’t stay as babies forever.
There are stages of growth from infancy, babyhood, childhood, adulthood to senescence. Or the seven
stages of life like: Infant, childhood, young adult, adulthood, retirement and elderly.
For spiritual growth, a Christian life undergone 4 stages: They are from Baby stage, child stage, youth
stage and matured Christian.
To grow spiritually we need to:
1. Pray always to God I Thes. 5: 17- without ceasing
2. Read the Bible every day to keep His Words in our heart Col . 3:16
3. Go to church regularly – Heb. 10:25 – not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together

ALL HAVE SINNED
Some are observed seemed no sins committed. When they treated others with the way they talked and
looked, their eyes seemed telling others they’re perfect and holier than others.
Do you believe in this? What do you feel? Are you not annoyed and disgusted with these kinds?
The Words of God tells that nobody is perfect. We all trespassed God’s commandments.
Among the sins listed below may/may not be committed by us are:

Conceit-
a high regard of oneself, egotism, self- admiration, exaggeration of oneself for one’s
accomplishment.
Example: the person would not help in the task because he is not suited to the to the work
because of his position in life, right?
The washing of dishes in the kitchen, nobody dares to help because he’s thinking he’s not there
to stay knowing his position is managerial.
WHAT A GREAT EGOISTIC PERSON?
He/She would not dare do the work which would make his/her feel ashamed of knowing the
high regard of oneself.
There are still many of these, but once I heard in some, even if they had position of high rank,
still they wouldn’t mind doing some errands in the accomplishment of tasks necessary in the
organization no matter what it takes.
1. Selfishness- is placing concern with oneself or one's own interests above the well-being
of others.
There are also many of these in an organization who don’t care to extend whatever they
are needed to give.
Such instance when there’s contribution for something, he/she would not dare to give because he/ she
had many reasons kept.
Maybe disliking the leader or just don’t like to share due to the thinking such would just be a lost to
her/him.
Greediness in some words. Don’t want to share something just for himself/ herself.

A CAKE FOR MY HUBBY
Yesterday was my husband’s birthday.
Me, and my son last other day made some marketing on things to be used for that day.
It was not a grand celebration because we had already the family outing together with his relatives last
Saturday.

It was not already a plan of doing our plan of baking cake for him knowing we still had food in
refrigerator.
Yet, my son insisted on baking a chocolate cake for him.
So we made it even we’re not used to. We just follow what’s in the recipe and browsed the youtube.
So funny, we made it and decorated something to make it look appealing.
That’s it we had a homemade cake no longer need to buy in the bakeshop.
My husband was happy because my son took picture of it.
My conclusion here is, if we can have it in the house, better try it by following some available gadgets
rather than always buying outside and we don’t even know how the food are prepared there, right?

In the Malacanang, Obama was given a 21 Gun Salute during the welcome ceremony together with his
staff and the host country.
The 21 Gun Salute is a Full Military Honors followed by the National Anthem.
After then, Obama and Aquino proceeded to the Bonifacio Hall for the bilateral meeting.
With the arrival of U.S. President in the state visit to meet President Benigno Aquino III, the Civil
Aviation Authority of the Philippines announced a delay of flights along Ninoy Aquino International
Airport.
There was two hour delay which affected the other airports like Sangley, Lipa and Ildefonso
Two hours delay will also happened on the departure Tomorrow Tuesday 12:30 to 2:30 P:M.
NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF COMPUTER GAMES
1. Games with violent content makes children became aggressive linking to the amount of time
they play.- Desirable time is only 2 hours / day.

2. Tends to be more aggressive- according to the study conducted by Gentile, Lynch, Linder and
Walsh, 2004,p.6- Less patience.
3. More prone to confrontation with their teachers. Observe them, they can easily answer back
and worst no respect even in answering.
4. May mostly engage fight with peers.- hot tempered, easily get angry.
5. Decline in school achievements- by Gentile, et. Al 2004 research- not an achiever because less
time is allotted in school work.
6. Players benefit from engaging in acts of violence and are then able to move to the game’s next
level. – Can do more action worse and to the worst even.
For example: like in fighting, first, just slapping, next more actions that would result to the killing spree
of their opponents in the games but eventually, emulated in real life.
7. Can make decisions affecting the actions of the characters they are imitating.
It’s so dangerous to think applying in real life the actions learned in the games.
