2. About Contentsparx
Contentsparx enables a website owner to manage any small to large website easily and
effectively. The product provides various tools to customize the Content Management
System (CMS) as per specific requirements.
Contentsparx provides a robust software ecosystems to build, deploy, customize and
upgrade a Content Management System for different websites. A Contentsparx System, or
a Content Management System (CMS), is the software that customer uses to manage their
website. ADII (and also its Channel Partners with specific access rights) manage building,
deployment, customization and upgrades all Contentsparx Systems through Contentsparx
Management Centre (CMC).
The customer can also access a tool at CMC, called CMSforge, to customize a CMS to their
specific requirements after deployment. The CMSforge is only available by signing into ADII
Cloud. Contentsparx is modular by design, and a CMS is always built with the CMS
Core (that is the essential part of any CMS) and one or more Modules. CMS Core provides a
platform for other Modules to function, and includes page builder, user management, user
roles and profile management, and files (or System assets) management.
3. Contentsparx Features
• Full-featured website editing and management tools
Contentsparx provides tools to create and edit static and dynamic web pages in an
intuitive manner. The access privileges to edit a page or a set of page can be controlled
through roles assigned to members of the website.
• Modules for various scenarios and customizability for specific requirements
The product avails different modules like content portal management, e-
commerce website management, etc. to serve various scenarios for website
publishing and usage. The system is accompnied by a powerful tool
called CMSforge, which can be used to customize many aspects of the system
like data input mechanism, form input handling, etc.This enables the product to
adapt to specific website requirements.
• Customizable themes for your website
Contentsparx supports creating different themes to suit the site owner
(customer) needs and choice. With a set of minimal steps, designers can modify
an existing theme or can even assemble a new theme easily. The theme is
maintained separately within the system, and does not interfere with the CMS
Core.

• Easy installation of Software
Contentsparx can be installed on any web server managed at customer end (that meets minimum installation
requirements, of course) or at ADII Cloud (where ADII provdes hosting services) in a few minutes. The product can
be installed online to the server after license is created at the Contentsparx Management Center (CMC).
In the second case, customer can choose any predefined package for utility billing (payment for a package of
storage and bandwidth usage) or can select pay-per-use model (billied every month for storage and bandwidth
usage).
• Regular Upgrades and Software Assurance
Contentsparx is being continually being upgraded for new features, security updates, and bug fixes. With a minimal
fee, customers can avail software Assurance (right to obtain all upgrades of the product). For customers using the
product in SaaS model, software assurance comes without any additional cost.
• Robust and scalable architecture
The architecture addresses high-traffic and intense usage situations and weired accessibility to aplication due to
open nature of web. While availing highly customizable and robust features for users, the product conceals all
complexities.
• Security scheme deeply engaged into the architecture
The product provides a number of pre-built guards against breach of security. This includes schemes for role-based
access control for users, spam protection of public forms, detailed implementation to prevent unauthorized access,
schemes against cross-site and sql-injection attacks.
• Developers API
Contentsparx provided developers API to develop custom software applications around Contentsparx and to port
data from and to the system through secured access.
• Support and Training
You get prompt and personalized support from skilled consultants and engineers from ADII. Adequate
documentation and training materials are available to use the product to its fullest. Moreover, regular group
training and on-demand onsite training is organised by ADII.

6. Contentsparx – Modules
Contentsparx is modular by design, and a CMS is always built with the CMS Core (that is the essential part of any
CMS) and one or more Modules. Contentsparx avails different Modules for various deployment and usage scenarios.
Each Module has common features like theme support, custom data input forms, content sharing functionalities.
Currently the following Modules are available:
Simple Web
Simple Web Module provides all functionalities to publish a full-featured business website. These include web page
creation and editing tool, blog, forum, wiki, photo gallery, etc. to make the web publishing a pleasing experience.
360 Content
360 Content Module enables the customer to create and manage a high traffic content portal easily. This Module is
useful for creating news, classifieds, and community websites where people collaborate to publish content.
Social Networking
Social Networking Module provides extensive set of features to create and manage a social networking website.
These include features like private messaging, chat, friends, wall posts and member home pages, etc.
E-Commerce
E-Commerce Module provides full set of features to run a e-commerce store with store-front, backend inventory and
billing management.
NOTE: Each Module can be chosen and be purchased during System deployment or later.
7. Contentsparx – Theme
Contentsparx supports creating different themes to suit the site owner (customer) needs and choice. With a set of
minimal steps, designers can modify an existing theme or can even assemble a new theme easily. The theme is
maintained separately within the system, and does not interfere with the CMS Core. ADII also takes up assignments to
create new themes as per custom requirements from the customer.
8. Contentsparx – How to Use
Contentsparx CMS can be deployed at any server location that meets the minimum installation criteria.
This ensures running of the CMS independently without connecting to any resource at ADII. Of course,
the deployed CMS will need contact with Contentsparx Management Center (CMC) for upgrades,
security and performance fixes, and accessing CMSforge for customizing the CMS as per specific
requirements of the customer.
Software Ownership
Customer owns the copyright for using the software at the particular location (as licensed), and to
develop new features and integrate 3rd party web applications using developers API. The data
ownership will entirely be with the customer. Additionally, general terms of service and usage
policy will be applicable.
Installation and Minimum Requirements
The entire installation will be done by us or one of our Channel Partner. The customer server location
should meet minimum criteria before the installation of the CMS proceeds:
Windows or Linux Server
PHP5 with PDO enabled
Database supported by PDO (MySQL5, Oracle, etc.)
Internet connectivity and access to the customer server during installation, while using CMSforge and
during CMS upgrades
9. Software Assurance
Software Assurance provides right to the customer for receiving the following: the customer to of the
following rights that:
• Backup of the copy of System at Contentsparx Management Center (CMC) for future
reinstallation requirements (NOTE: the license cannot be reassigned)
• Security and performance updates
• All feature upgrades to the CMS Core and to the Modules purchased
• Technical support from ADII through telephone and online customer portal
• One hour training (online or at Channel Partner location) after deployment of CMS
• Updated User Guide in PDF
Software Assurance needs to be purchased separately while purchasing the System, and can be
obtained up to three years at a time (should be renewed before the expiry period).
NOTE: The access to the CMSforge must be purchased separately, and does not come with Software
Assurance.
10. Contentsparx – How to Order
Choice of Modules
The customer must choose at least one Contentsparx Module apart from the CMS Core while
deploying the System for the first time. Of course, the customer can purchase any other Module(s)
later. Each Module comes with its own software cost, Software Assurance Cost. However, access to
CMSforge will ensure access to all Modules for customization with a blanket fee.
Custom Requirements and Ordering
The customer can place their custom requirements while purchasing a CMS. The customization to the
CMS can be done by us or by our Channel Partners or even by customer through CMSforge. This
customization will entail additional fee as required.
Custom Development and 3rd Party Integration
The customer can develop new applications and/ integrate 3rd party applications with Contentsparx
using the Developers API that accompanies every System.
Web Hosting Options from ADII
The customer can also opt for web hosting services from ADII. The services include domain name
registrations/ renewals, website and email hosting, SSL certificate installation, etc.
NOTE: The access to the CMSforge must be purchased separately.
