Out of 100% of the total population of Pakistan
50.86% are consist of males whereas 49.14% are
female where 31.86% women's work in informal sector
and only 17.28% works in formal sector.

WHAT ROLE IS PLAYED BY HRM?
It is the responsibility to balances the positions of
man and women at work place by being unbiased to
anyone. In addition considering problems of female
workers seriously, and to provide basic needs to them
at working hours including good transport system
and nurseries
• “Family friendly policy” in which they support
continuing employment of women and child care leave,
long term nursing care to there infants are provided
• “The Lives of Office Girls” carried out by the
Government department of social Affairs
• Policy named “Joko” called factory girls
• “Double track personal management”
• “Equal Employment Act policy” etc.
RECOMMANDATIONS:
• Country and regional programs dealing with
employment related issues of women is needed
• Building or strengthening positive linkages and
synergies between formal and informal
employment in the formal sector
• Addressing structural barriers of women
employment by rising there voices through media
• Raising awareness among young women workers
about employment opportunities and career
possibilities
• Building up friendly staff environment ,and
confidence level towards any injustice
Moving into the formal economy is the key to
economic and social advancement for women in the
informal economy and for their daughters. When we
talk about formal sector, informal sector is treated as
an issue in the context of formal sector.
“So getting more women into the work force is the
cure to many economic ills and imperative to
sustainable development or I can say informal
economy is the problem ,the formal economy is the
solution”
