what is the defining relative clause?
People who/that are concerned with the

buying organic produce.
4. Now what’s the difference in the use
of the relative pronouns:
1.More professionals whose managers allow it
are opting to “telecommute”or work at home
2.Hybrid cars are an option that/which more
people are choosing.
In sentence 2 you can omit the relative
pronouns. They are optional. WHY?
In sentence 1 the relative pronoun is the
subject, so you have to use it. In sentence 2, it
is not the subject (it’s the object)
