An adapted minibook to go with the Israel chapter

1. Jewish people worship in a temple called a synagogue.
They had to move to a country called Babylon.

2. The Romans let the Jews return to Israel, where they lived.
Later, the Jews lived among the Greeks. They translated their Bible into the Greek
language.

3. A group of Jews called the Maccabees revolted against the Greeks.
There were many conflicts between the Jews, Greeks, and Romans before the
Jews gained independence.
