not following convention, which is the
textbook methods/procedures. This is
about TVET, which advocates schooling
for skills, skills for work & work for life.

The strategic entry point for ensuring a
world of work that contributes to social
cohesion and promotes environmentally
sound sustainable development.

5. WHAT IS TVET?
An Education, Training and Learning activity,
which provides knowledge, skills and attitudes
relevant for employment or self-employment by
describing all kinds of formal, non-formal and
informal training and learning, wherever it occurs.

6. WHAT IS TVET?
TVET transverses the extant of Arts and
Cultures, Information and Communication
Technologies, Education and Economic
Reforms, Social and Scientific Research, as it
deals with livelihood.

7. SCOPE OF TVET
Adequate literacy, numeracy and digital literacy
Knowledge and aptitude to stop and think effectively
Attitude of pride and thoughtfulness towards the job
Mastery of everyday working procedures
Understanding the economic and social side of work
(AKAMU)

TVET and skills development initiatives play a
significant role not only in developing human and
social capital, but also in promoting necessary
skills, knowledge and expertise needed for more
sustainable societies and greener economies.

the classrooms and what is required by
the industries and the labour market

as an AWOL MDGs Charter.

This advocates the marketability of skillful
Self-employment to avoid Economic
Tsunami, as a result of exuberance of
youthful renaissance through training and
follow-up E.g. Amnesty.

13. TVET ADVOCACY
TVET is not for drop outs, as popularly
rumored, but an avenue of educational
reform to meet the needs of the society by
imbibing the curriculum, as a lifestyle.

TVET is a way of restoring value system in
the society with dignity of labour by
injecting the eroding jobs with evolving skills
that sustainably advocates for the better life
of mankind in this era of globalization.

well being of man.
