Answer the following questions to discover the exact
market segment and the precise people within that
market segment that will be most profitable to reach.
Once you’ve identified these sectors and people, you

Define Marketing Goals
What are your marketing goals? The most effective
goals answer the question WHAT by WHEN. Your
goals should be specific and measurable -- for
example, “Have 20,000 subscribers by December 31st”
vs. “increase mailing list subscribers.”
When goals are specific, you can create a precise plan
to achieve each one, and at the end of the specified
time period, you can clearly see if the goal was
