In early 2018, we were honored to have been named as National AcademyWorkstation
by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), a professional organization
composed of 167 national societies and hundreds of local branches across the country.
This reward encouraged and inspired us to continue constructing the workstation,
enhance the equipment for R&D and build the professional and innovative talent
team.
In October, we were awarded the Outstanding Marketing Award by Recycling Times
Media for our outstanding achievement in marketing and sales activities.
In June, we introduced the all-new PR3 Gear Solution in replacement toner cartridges
compatible with HP CF226/CF287 series, HP CE505/CF280 series and HP CE255 series
toner cartridges. Favoured by resellers, Print-Rite PR3 gear is incredibly creative but
also extremely competitive with full strength, precision, speed and stability.
In October, we hosted the city’s first ever printing industry seminar – OCTA 2018 in the
new opened 3D Printing Innovation Hub. The seminar welcomed over a hundred of
registered customers to enjoy an interesting and informative panel discussion. We also
hosted our OCTA 2018 Gala Dinner at the beach and what a great night that was! We're
feeling the love from our customer around the world during Print-Rite OCTA 2018
Printing Industry Seminar. It was a wonderful opportunity meet our friends and bring
more value to our partners and customers.

Which model should I choose for my Samsung printer?
Q A
How can I confirm the correct chip region? How to resolve if the printer shows error?
Sometimes we are confused about the chip region when we are choosing compatible chips for Samsung printers.
Actually, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) divides the product region for common products mainly
for six regions, saying that EUR, EXP, MEA, DOM, KOR, KORG, CN.
Take Samsung MLT-D203 for example.
Press (Menu) > Information on the control panel.
Select "Supplies Info." to print out the page.
Then you can find chip region as follows.
Press this button until the signal
light stop flashing.
Some menus may not appear in the display depending
on options or models. If so, it is not applicable to your
machine. For another Samsung printer, you can press the
red button on the printer until the signal light stop flash-
Actually, the chip region for most of the compatible
chips in the aftermarket can be shifted. If the printer
shows “Toner cartridge is not installed. Install it”, open
and close the printer cover at most 6 times. During this
“open-and-close-the-printer-cover” action, the chip
region will be shifted and locked to the correct region.
If the printer still cannot work, please check if any
firmware upgrade or contact your supplier.

Mr. Kretschmer is Compliance and Sales Support
Manager of PRP Solutions, Germany. He has 29
years of experience in inkjet, electrophotograph-
ic and other printing technologies. Before joining
Print-Rite he was a Director Research & Develop-
ment of Pelikan Hardcopy. Therefore, he was
involved in the development of inkjet inks, toner
powders and cartridges for desktop and industri-
al applications. Furthermore, he gained experi-
ence in test infrastructure, printhead analysis,
product and print quality aspects.
As a physicist, he obtained his diploma at the
University of Ulm, Germany. Mr. Kretschmer is an
author of several patents and publications in the
field of inkjet and electrophotography.
