each employee. Our training department will be working extensively on working on individual
training needs of our employees along with various trainings to enhance the capacity of the

Communication process:
‱ There is an open environment in the Daewoo which
allows the employees to communicates with each
others. Before making the decisions the top level
managers discuss it with their supervisor or
employees. The organization allows the employees
that the any one of them can meet the general
manager.
Span of control:
Span of control is narrow. There are less people under one person in the
organization, because it also control regional basis teams.
Decentralization:
Not only the CEO takes the decisions but also gets feedback from employees.

The process of decision making is held in organization by both centralization
and decentralization. The decision making is held by the management of the
company.
Destinations:
Daewoo Express is working in 33 cities on 43 destinations with 200
buses.
Daewoo is working with highly professional staff. Daewoo assures its
passengers a safe & secure journey. For this purpose a separate Security
Department is working. Effective and efficient drivers hired always.
And a bus hostess to serve passengers with food and refreshments.
Daewoo’ management put the best possible candidate for the job in the

1. Safety and security:
Daewoo assures its passengers a safe & secure journey. Some of the security &
safety measures followed are:
‱ life insurance of each passenger.
‱ A team of skilled guards at all terminals.
‱ Deputation of alert armed guard in the bus.
‱ Security checking of passengers at boarding time.
‱ Lost & found department for the security of luggage.
‱ Movie capturing of all passengers before the departure.
‱ Before boarding, carry-on baggage of each passenger is checked.

express bus passengers. Daewoo cab also plans to provide customers an intra-city luxury
conveyance medium at a reasonable rate nationwide.
Daewoo cab – from Daewoo bus to your doorstep - Daewoo Pakistan express bus service limited
has launched Daewoo cab – a pick and drop service for all of its passengers. This service is
currently available in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Our future destinations include
Multan, Karachi, Peshawar and Faisalabad.
Daewoo Miles card:
Daewoo brings yet another new service for its valued passengers.
With Daewoo Miles Rewards Program, you can get "reward tickets" if you
keep Daewoo Express as your preferred travel service.
The more you travel - the more reward tickets you get!
Conclusion:
Pakistan's biggest Inter-city bus operator, Daewoo Express is
growing big time. Since its inception in 1997, Daewoo Express has grown
with the tick of clock. Today, it's offering international standard
transportation services from 60 stations across Pakistan. Over 500,000
passengers travel across 60 stations of Punjab, Sindh & Khyber
Pakhtoonkhwa via Daewoo Express every month.
Furthermore, Daewoo Express also started operations from its 2nd
Terminal in Lahore, located in Defence Housing Authority, phase 5 which is
part of the larger vision of company's management.

This service is currently available in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Our future destinations include Multan, Karachi, Peshawar and Faisalabad.
