This document provides an overview of a 60-hour instructor-led course on Robotic Process Automation Design and Development. The course aims to teach students how to develop and deploy software robots using the UiPath RPA platform. It has a 40-hour theory component divided into sections on programming review, foundational RPA concepts, and advanced UiPath concepts. The remaining 20 hours are labs where students practice the skills learned in theory. Upon completing the course, students should be able to independently develop and deploy attended and unattended robots using UiPath Studio and Orchestrator while applying RPA best practices.

Course Description
Overview
The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Design & Development course offers
comprehensive knowledge and professional-level skills focused on developing and
deploying software robots. The course assumes no prior knowledge of RPA. It begins
by refreshing basic programming skills and introducing basic RPA concepts. The
course then introduces the UiPath RPA platform and teaches students how to use free
UiPath software (Community Edition) to automate business processes. The class has a
40-hour theory component and an associated 20-hour lab component.
Audience
The course is intended for students and individuals who want to design and develop
robots for process automation.
Pre-requisite Knowledge/Skills
To understand and complete the course successfully the student must have basic
programming skills.
Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:
● Understand the basics of Robotic Process Automation
● Use and understand the various functionalities and features of UiPath
Studio and Orchestrator
● Identify processes which can be automated
● Develop and deploy attended and unattended robots independently
