5. • Use your firm’s social media presence to notify consumers of the
recall, including Facebook, Google
+, YouTube, Twitter, Flickr, Pinterest, company blogger
networks, and blog announcements.
• Use mobile scanners to obtain information on recalls from mobile
devices. Put QR codes that allow immediate action on posters/print
notices.
• Buy paid notices via television, or radio, Google, Facebook and
other online search engines and promotion tweets on Twitter.
• Communicate with consumers, not at consumers. Use plain
language. Use their language.
• Use images. 2/3 higher click rate on a Facebook postings with
