Why Did God Create the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil?
God’s Creation Gen 1:31 And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

If God is love . . . ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object]

God always wanted man to keep His commands. God used various means to facilitate such obedience.
First The tree of the knowledge of good and evil location was strategic. Gen. 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.
2nd The tree of Life was also strategically locate. Gen. 2:9 And out of the ground Jehovah God caused to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food. The tree of life also was in the middle of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
3rd The prohibition and potential punishment were spoken by God. Gen. 2:17 but you shall not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. For in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.
4th God created many more fruits trees. They are all pleasant to human sight. Gen. 2:9 And out of the ground Jehovah God caused to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food . The tree of life also was in the middle of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
In conclusion Human have a CHOICE and FREEDOM given from God Gen. 2:9

Gen. 2:9 And out of the ground Jehovah God caused to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food .
