Value Chain: The progression of activities that
a firm in a specific industry performs in order to
deliver a valuable product to the end customer.
The Primary Activities

The Internal Handling and Management of
resources coming from outside sources such as
external vendors and other supply chain sources.
These outside resources flowing in are called
inputs or raw materials.
Activities and processes that transform
inputs into outputs which is the product
or service being sold to customer.
The delivery of outputs to customers.
Processses involve systems for
storage, collection and distribution to
customers.
Activities such as
advertising and brand
building, which seek to
inxrease visibility, reach a
marketing audience and
communicate why a
consumer should purchase
a product or service.
Activities such as

and support, which
reinforce a longterm
relationship with the
customers who have
purchased a product
or service.
