Global Women's Leadership Network's vision is to prepare global leaders who are empowered and perceive themselves with three major principles: "A Whole Woman who is a Whole Leader for the Whole World".
The topic to discuss on this slide is how all of the organizations in the room are working towards one or more of these issues somewhere in the world. The goal is to bring the issues under a larger “women’s leadership” umbrella while at the same time validating the work and efforts of each organization.
The lead-in to the next slide is to talk about the opportunity for greater impact when organizations work as part of a network and can use the scale and support of GLWN and it’s regional partners (specifically, in this case, in Silicon Valley) to advance their work and increase their reach and leverage.
We need to make sure that everyone in the room sees their work when they look at this slide. If there are orgs that don’t, this can be the point at which they lose interest and connection.
Also as #4 point: Acceleration in the velocity at which change is happening.
Vision: Our vision is to prepare global leaders who are empowered and perceive themselves with three major principles: "Whole Woman, Whole Leader, Whole World."
Whole Woman - as an individual, fulfilling her purpose
Whole Leader - as an innovator, inspiring and enrolling others because they are needed to fulfill a vision
Whole World - as a key part of a network, working to ignite a new future for humanity
Mission: Our mission is to create a new future for humanity by inspiring and giving women leaders the skills and knowledge to deliver us all a world built upon social justice and economic sustainability.

We need to mention that WLW extends beyond a course and into “network” of women leaders – sets up our regional alliances ideas, later. Part of our pitch around the regional alliances is that we have concentrations of women leaders who can founders of many of the regional alliances. We need to set the stage for that here.
We need to emphasis that WLW is about thinking “BIG” and working collaboratively Here are some thoughts:
The world needs new models of leadership which lead to collective action and sustained progress
There need to be bold, breakthrough changes not incremental change
Global Women's Leadership Network, based in Northern California, is a non-profit organization that provides leadership development and resources for women leaders around the world. GWLN offers a residential leadership program, coaching and lifelong participation in a global network in support of positive social and economic development. The end result is a network of exceptional women who are visionary leaders ready to make social change, transforming the lives of women, girls and their communities in some of the most impoverished areas in the world.
