Voluntary decisions require analyzing the situation, goals, and people involved by examining all available information. Involuntary actions are reflexes and habits learned through repetition without much thought. Hidden persuasion can influence decisions through visual stimuli, accelerated speech, embedded images, and subtle suggestions. Voluntary thinking allows influence from credible sources, authority figures, peers, and group thinking, as well as interpersonal needs, but requires examining available information. Group think seeks harmony over individual ideas, prioritizing affection, inclusion, and control. Probability of success or failure due to time, place, people involved affects whether one follows through on a decision.

7. Credible Sources: those who we trust, those that have status, or are well versed in the topic, ones we look up to for guidance. Authority Figures: we turn to them in critical times to make a decision. Peer Influence: when your decisions have been influenced by those that you identify yourself with.
8. Group Think :Is a style of decision making when the thinking of the group is so dominating that it overrides your won ideas. ( seeks to achieve harmony between members of the group). Many minds one though
9. Need for Affection Need for Inclusion Need for Control Group decisions are based o three factors.
10. Many of our decisions are made based on Risk factor. If probability of our decision ending badly is high then we don’t go through with the decision. If the probability of our decision succeeding is high the we will follow through. Degree of probability is based on Time, Place, Occasion and the People involved. Bad Critical thinker too big a risk
11. A good critical thinker examines all options and outcomes of their decisions but not only that but they analyze the process of making the decision as well to determine the success of that decision.
