SurveyCrest provides you with a feature called ‘Piping’. This feature allows you to make the questionnaire easy for the responders by controlling the wording of the questions or including the answer of a question as the option for another question. Follow these simple steps to add this feature to your questions.

1. What is The Piping Button For?

2. Piping feature allows you
to control the wording by
automatically including
the answer choice as
part of a question. You
can also pass a
previously selected
answer as a new answer
choice into a follow-up
question.
Piping only works with a
previous question
already in the survey.

3. Piping Into Options

4. Click on ‘Piping’ [a].

5. A pop-up window will
appear.

6. Below ‘Pipe into
Options’, choose the
question whose answer
you want to pipe into
this question.
And Click on ‘Save’.

7. Whatever the
respondents will
answer to a piped
question (selected
question whose answer
you wanted to pipe)
It will become the
option of the question
to which it is piped
