The Paige Foundation donated over $254,000 to non-profit organizations in 2018 to support their missions of helping older adults, animals, and education. For older adults, they provided funding for healthcare, transportation, and housing assistance programs. They also facilitated a $1.5 million loan. For animals, they donated to the San Diego Humane Society's PAWS program which keeps pets with low-income seniors. For education, they funded over $189,000 in scholarships to 98 students attending Colorado and California colleges. The Foundation engages donors and evaluates the non-profits they partner with to maximize community impact.
1. Older Adults
“PACE is a blessing for me. And my
daughter doesn’t worry anymore.”
In 2018, the Foundation donated
$50,000 to support our older adult
mission.
The Paige Foundation facilitated a $1.5
million dollar loan and a $15,000 grant to
TRU Community Care in Colorado. The
program serves virtually all social,
medical, emotional, and psychological
needs of the Medicare and Medicaid
qualified population, with centrally
managed care, allowing seniors to remain
living in their own homes longer.
The Foundation made a $30,000 capital
contribution to P.A.C.E. El Cajon in
California for a new facility which opened
in 2018.
The Paige Foundation gave VIA Mobility
Services $5,000 to support transportation
to medical visits for low-income adults
allowing them to age in their homes.

Mission Statement:
The Paige Foundation supports
education, animals, and older adults
through our endowment and donor
engagement.
"My after school program means that I
am part of a community. It means I'm
hopeful for my future."
The support we provide changes lives!
The Herbert and Judy Paige Family
Foundation helps low-income students
gain access to a high-quality education,
provides food, love and shelter for animals
and offers low-income older adults
excellent healthcare, companionship,
transportation and nutritious meals.
2. Animal Welfare
“Mimi comes first, even before me. I
love her. She is my everything.”
In 2018, the Foundation donated
$15,000 to support our animal welfare
mission. In an effort to merge our senior
citizen and animal missions we made a
donation to the San Diego Humane
Society in support of their PAWS program.
PAWS was established to keep pets at
home with low-income seniors, and to
assist in-home delivery of essential
services to home-bound seniors. PAWS
bridges the gap between human services
and animal welfare by keeping pets in
loving homes with their owners. Herb and
Judy knew that animals enrich and
enhance our lives. They adopted pets
from the San Diego Humane Society. We
are proud to continue supporting animals
and seniors in need.
“Losing my son three years ago left me
empty inside and having Dobey has
brought me great joy and I can love
again. Having Dobey in my life allows
me to love him with all I have.”
Education
Herb and Judy created the Paige Family
Foundation with the strong belief that,
“The basis of all human improvement
begins with education.” This ideal drives
our education mission today.
“I strive every day to make the Paige
Foundation proud at school, in the
hospital, and in my life.”
In 2018, the Foundation funded over
$189,000 to more than 98 students to
further our commitment to education.
Thanks to diligent research and planning
we were able to increase the number of
students impacted this year!
Our students are attending 2-year and 4-
year colleges in Colorado and California.
We are proud to say several of our
students have successfully transferred
from community college to 4-year schools.
We have students attending: Community
College of Denver, University of Colorado,
Metro State, University of Northern
Colorado and San Diego State University.
We support K-12 non-profits who
demonstrate they are impacting college
graduation rates for low-income children.
We have partnerships with College Track,
Colorado Uplift, Denver Kids, Denver
Scholarship Foundation, Girls Inc., The
Bridge Project and “I Have a Dream” of
Boulder, Los Angeles and Colorado.
These programs provide children the
opportunity to break the cycle of poverty
though social emotional education, school
support, summer programs, mentoring
and in some cases tuition towards college.
“I never imagined being where I am
now, and it is definitely due in part by
the Paige Foundation. Thank you. It
really means the world to me.”
The Paige Foundation evaluates,
monitors and create relationships with
all of the non-profits we partner with.
We also seek to engage donors in
meaningful ways with our non-profit
partners.
