Dear friends in Christ,
As per government requirement our Covid safety plan is now in place. This
means we can now use the Church, Hall and grounds for small groups of up to
20 people provided we stick to the safety requirements listed on the following
page.
Sunday worship will remain on Zoom until phase 3 of the restrictions the
government has planned for the 15th of June. At that point, we hope to be able
to have 40 people in the church and the rest of us accommodated in the Hall,
linked via video and communion in one kind distributed in both. For those
remaining in isolation, we hope to have the video available at home too.
If you intend to remain in isolation, please let me know by sending me an email
at sebastiana.stpauls@gmail or giving me a call on 0434 896 819.
My appointment as temporary, half time priest has been extended for another
three months until the end of September. The parish facilitation process is a
priority at this time so you can begin to find a new Rector. Â If you would like to
join in with a half-day facilitation workshop please contact Carol Eaton
on caranneat@gmail.com or 0419 098 918.
 With every blessing,Â
Sebastiana

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
The following issues are important for us all to follow as we move forward to
re-opening St Paul's for worship and other community activities to ensure we
not only look after ourselves and one another but that we also meet the
Government of WA COVID-19 Safety requirements:
Maintain physical distancing as per the 4 sqm per person.Â
Each area of our precinct has clearly displayed, the number of people allowed
in that area.Â
The church pews have been marked with crosses to indicate where individuals
or members of the same household may sit.     Â
The isle in the church has also been marked with crosses to represent
appropriate physical distancing.    Â
Particular attention is required for waiting areas such as the church foyer
where only one person maybe at any time.
Maintain appropriate hand hygiene and cough and sneeze etiquette.   Â
Hand sanitiser will be provided in each areas.
If you are unwell, remain at home but please let us know if there is
anything we can do to support you.
An increase in routine facility cleaning has been implemented.      Â
Extra cleaning is also to take place by the group using the various facilities at
the end of a session. Cleaning products are provided.
A record of all people attending any event is to be maintained for the
purposes of contact tracing.

Conversations have always been a starting point for new ideas, new ways of
being and new ways of doing.
In 2019, about 20 people attended the St Paul’s conversations group held over
several weeks. St Paul’s community members who are interested in the idea of
joining a facilitated conversations group commencing in June 2020 are invited
to an information session on zoom after church:
Sunday 31 May 2020 @ 10:45 AM.
If you are interested, in joining the zoom information session,
please email Chris Williams:

CONVERSATIONS FOR A FAITH
COMMUNITY
FACILITATION PROCESS
Greetings, you have now had the facilitation questions for a couple of weeks
and it would appear that we may be emerging from our isolation. With that in
mind, I am hoping to conduct a half day workshop where our journey thus far
with St Paul's can be shared, and how we see ourselves taking the journey into
the future together. You will need to bring the documentation of the questions
with you.
If you would like to attend, please email me and we will see if we can get 16
parishioners. If there are more responses, another workshop will be conducted.
As yet we are unable to use our buildings but I am hopeful that we can meet in
the Hall early in June.
Mapping our future
Cheers,

World Environment Day is one of the most important days for environmental
action and focus. As a global initiative it is a platform to remind us that we are
all interdependent on each other, and that local and personal actions affect
the entire planet.
For Christians, World Environment Day is when we both celebrate the gift of
God’s Creation and lament at our degradation of it.Â
The EcoCare Commission has a Pew Sheet for World Environment Day with
prayers and reflections and can be downloaded here:

WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY (5 JUNE)
Our next Anglican Children's Ministry Network is on Wednesday the 24th of June
at 7:30pm. Alongside catching up and hearing how ministry is going in the
different parts of our Diocese, we will be joined by some intergenerational
experts who will briefly help us think through how we might emerge from
lockdown with new ideas for ministry.
