6. Siac / Ferrovial JV - N6 Motorway Project, M50 Widening Project, M3
Project. MCR were responsible for providing Labour to these projects with up
to 120 workers provided for the duration of these projects. These were a
mixture of Machine Operators, Shuttering Carpenters, Skilled General
Operatives, Site Engineers and Foremen.
Lagan / Ferrovial JV - A1 Newry & A4 Dungannon to Ballygawley Upgrade.
MCR have provided a mixture of Skilled General Operatives, Groundworkers
and Machine Operators.
John Sisk & Sons / John Sisk Civils - Cashel Culahill Bypass, Monasterevin
Bypass, Fermoy Bypass. MCR were the main labour supplier to these projects
with in excess of 320 workers provided for the duration of the projects. These
were a mixture of Skilled General operatives, Groundworkers, Concrete
Finishers, Machine Operators, Shuttering Carpenters and Management staff.
MCR are also the main labour supplier to John Sisk & Sons building division.
At any one time MCR would have in the region of 200 workers on site with
John Sisk. Recent jobs would include Dundrum Shopping Centre, Spencer
Dock Residential Commercial regeneration development and Ritz-Carlton
Powerscourt Hotel. These workers would be a mixture of Carpenters,
Handymen, Skilled General Operatives, Machine Operators, Banksmen and
Scaffolders.
ATAFL - Eglestada, Reyoarfjorour, Iceland - Construction of Smelting Plant -
MCR supplied in excess of 70 workers ranging from General Operatives,
Teleporter Drivers, Shuttering Carpenters, Tower Crane Operators, Site
Engineers and Site Management for a 9 month duration.
Ascon - Waterford Bypass, Carlow Bypass and N4-N6 extension - MCR
supplied approximately 180 workers to these three jobs. Again, these were
heavy Civils projects and involve Shuttering Carpenters, Groundworkers,
Excavator Drivers, Banksmen, Earthworks Foremen and Charge Hands.
Laing O'Rourke - Naas Road Widening, Dublin Airport, Cloverhill prison,
Beacon Court development, Dunnes Stores Retail outlet - MCR were the main
labour supplier to these projects with up to 120 men on site ranging from
Shuttering Carpenters, Steelfixers, Engineers, Surveyors, Foremen, General
Operatives, Carpenters and Machine Operators. MCR have an exclusivity
agreement to supply Laing O'Rourke in Ireland.
P.Elliott & Co. - MCR are the preferred Labour suppliers to P.Elliott across
their wide range of projects and at any one time could have up to 200
employees working on site.
In Ireland both North and South, MCR have contracts to supply the likes of
P Elliott, John Sisk & Sons, Laing O'Rourke, Bowen Construction, Bennett
Construction, Pierse Construction, McAleer & Rushe, McInerney Homes,
Farrans and would be on the Preferred Supplier Listing of all the major
Contractors and Developers in the country.
