the world with funding and mentorship to lead
change on the ground.
We partner with influencers
who come together to amplify the message, driving
sales from young fans eager to contribute to a
cause that’s authentically theirs.

The Rivet Fund, powered by young consumers, will fund

Working with vetted NGO partners at the local and global
levels, we will track the movement of funds and impact of

prioritizing access.

PILOT PARTNERSHIP
We secured a pilot partnership with Funko, with 3
co-branded Pops that hit shelves in Fall 2021.
RAISED $1.6M SEED FUNDING
We’ve raised $1.6M in startup funding to hire
our founding team and build our core
business operations over the next year.
BUSINESS PLAN
We have completed our initial business plan,
focusing on the next 4 years of operations.
What we’ve accomplished: What we’re focusing on now:
Securing founding partnerships
Securing our 5 founding brand partners, 3 founding NGO
partners, and 4 founding influencers.
Setting up the organization
As a nonprofit startup, we will be fiscally sponsored for the first year
as we build the internal infrastructure to enable our operations.
Building our tech platform
Scoping our MVP features and roadmap, and testing our MVP
model with key partners.
Rivet will launch in Fall 2022 with a set of
founding brand, NGO, and influencer partners.

About the role
About the role/
overview
We’re looking for a Director of Youth Engagement to cultivate,
and engage for a global community of young people, and
create a deep brand connection to youth culture.
In this role, you’ll help ensure that young people are authentically
integrated into our strategy, so that ultimately RIVET is a
movement that young people trust and are proud to be part of.
This is a highly dynamic role in a startup environment that is
uniquely mission-driven.
You’ll get to be a community designer, coming up with creative
ways to rally a passionate global community of young people.
You’ll get to be a strategic thought partner, ensuring that the
needs and voice of young people are authentically represented in
every decision we make as an organization.
And you’ll get to be an organizational leader, working shoulder-
to-shoulder with the small RIVET start-up team to build a vibrant
organizational culture and vision.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary
and comprehensive benefits package.
We aren’t posting a specific salary range because we’re casting a wide
net and are particularly welcoming of non-traditional candidates, folks
who bring lived experience with and passion for youth culture, and
culture creators who share our vision of youth-led social change.
For non-US candidates, salary will be calculated according to local
cost of living, purchasing power, and tax rate.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Remote
Candidates can come from anywhere in the world, should have partial
overlap with EST hours, and some flexibility to accommodate global
time differences.

Design and cultivate our global community of young people, making
sure their voices are heard and building trust and authentic
relationships with them.
Trendwatching & Advocacy
Keep us tuned in to the values, passions, and needs of young people
through research and open dialogue, ensuring that this is distilled into
concrete strategy & action taken by our team.
Strategy & Program Design
Design and implement an overall youth engagement strategy to ensure
that young people are informed, consulted, and involved in our
decision-making as an organization.

And they are very different consumers. They care about who they’re buying from and what those companies stand for.   • 6. ABOUT RIVET/ concept Rivet unites 3 key players, bringing their superpowers together to accelerate the youth revolution. We partner with companies to co-brand products & experiences. Consumers buy what they love, with portions of their purchase going to youth-led social change. We partner with NGOs who recruit and support young people around the world with funding and mentorship to lead change on the ground. We partner with influencers who come together to amplify the message, driving sales from young fans eager to contribute to a cause that’s authentically theirs.

SUSTAINABILITY education Health & wellness poverty inclusion The Rivet Fund, powered by young consumers, will fund over 1 million new projects over the next decade, created by the most diverse group of young leaders ever. Working with vetted NGO partners at the local and global levels, we will track the movement of funds and impact of projects with full transparency and a commitment to prioritizing access.

RAISED $1.6M SEED FUNDING We’ve raised $1.6M in startup funding to hire our founding team and build our core business operations over the next year. BUSINESS PLAN We have completed our initial business plan, focusing on the next 4 years of operations. What we’ve accomplished: What we’re focusing on now: Securing founding partnerships Securing our 5 founding brand partners, 3 founding NGO partners, and 4 founding influencers. Setting up the organization As a nonprofit startup, we will be fiscally sponsored for the first year as we build the internal infrastructure to enable our operations. Building our tech platform Scoping our MVP features and roadmap, and testing our MVP model with key partners. Rivet will launch in Fall 2022 with a set of founding brand, NGO, and influencer partners.

  • 12. About the role/ overview We’re looking for a Director of Youth Engagement to cultivate, and engage for a global community of young people, and create a deep brand connection to youth culture. In this role, you’ll help ensure that young people are authentically integrated into our strategy, so that ultimately RIVET is a movement that young people trust and are proud to be part of. This is a highly dynamic role in a startup environment that is uniquely mission-driven. You’ll get to be a community designer, coming up with creative ways to rally a passionate global community of young people. You’ll get to be a strategic thought partner, ensuring that the needs and voice of young people are authentically represented in every decision we make as an organization. And you’ll get to be an organizational leader, working shoulder- to-shoulder with the small RIVET start-up team to build a vibrant organizational culture and vision. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. We aren’t posting a specific salary range because we’re casting a wide net and are particularly welcoming of non-traditional candidates, folks who bring lived experience with and passion for youth culture, and culture creators who share our vision of youth-led social change. For non-US candidates, salary will be calculated according to local cost of living, purchasing power, and tax rate. Strategy & Program Design Design and implement an overall youth engagement strategy to ensure that young people are informed, consulted, and involved in our decision-making as an organization.
