Q.1 WHAT IS TALENT MANAGEMENT ?
Talent management is defined as the methodically organized, strategic process of
getting the right talent onboard and helping them grow to their optimal capabilities
keeping organizational objectives in mind.
The process thus involves identifying talent gaps and vacant positions, sourcing for and
onboarding the suitable candidates, growing them within the system and developing
needed skills, training for expertise with a future- focus and effectively engaging,
retaining and motivating them to achieve long – term business goals, The definition
brings to light the overarching nature of talent management – how it permeates all
aspects pertaining to the human resources at work while ensuring thar organization
attains its objectives. It is thus, the process of getting the right people onboard and
enabling them to enable the business at large.
Under the umbrella of talent management, there are a string of elements and sub-
processes that need to work in unison to ensure the success of the organization .
Q.2 GIVE A BRIEF PROFILE OF THE FRAME OF STUDY.

important role of HR is the that the employs with right skills stick with the
organization for long time . Most important factors that go into IT business
is human capital that attracts the right talent , up- skill motivating and
retaining them in the organization is essential. TATA CONSULTANCY

scientific and innovative approach for talent management . And to build
quality talent pool, TCS started various kinds of training programmes like
Academic Learning collabration ,ILP and many other. TCS conducts
training as a part of CSR activity for the inclusive growth of the society.

EXPERIENCED EMPLOYEES AT TCS.

EXPLORING THE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM OF THE TRAINING IN TCS.
IN DEVELOPING THE MODEL.
• TRAINING PROGRAM WHEN EMPLOYEES ARE IN TCS:
FRESHER :
It is an e-learning module for students TCS is necessary for all the associate who are joining TCS as
a fresher .It is an online interactive pre-learning program for all the new recruite which will help them
to understand some basic concepts. It’s course contain 4 modules of IT Foundation skills like
introduction to computers, Programming Fundamental, solving and database. It has soft skills module
required by the IT professionals. For enhancing their skills, the module was used by 35000
fresh recruites of TCS in the financial year 2013. The recruites can use it in an E-learning module.
EXPERIENCE:
TCS over the year has introduced various learning
program for its experienced professional . This spans issues like
business strategies , project needs technology and business
directions . Its also addresses the long term needs of the
organisation , keeping aside from meeting individual aspiration.
Q.4 WHAT IS PROJECT 'UDAAN' ?
• Project Udaan is a joint and novel initative by NATIONAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION including government of India and Special Industry , Initative to
help kashmir youth join the mainstream of corporate India. It aims to train and
create employment opportunities for atleast 850 youth from Jammu and Kashnir for
over a period of 5 year and tcs has been associated with the program since its
inception or establishment. The training provides the youth with the necessary
knowledge, skills required in the corporate would over a period of 3.5 months. The
program cover the entire business skills and to build competence in domain and
process area while leveraging from innovative learning methodologies like games and
movies. The curriculum also includes life skills and performing art like dance, music
and drama to enhance and enrich the overall personality of the participate.
