Most recruiters already know how to use LinkedIn to find qualified candidates, or post a job listing on Facebook. Here are some tactics to use in your recruiting efforts you may not have thought about yet.
8. Shift Your Social Paradigm
• View social as a network of people, rather than a
promotion platform.
• Instead of just posting job listings, use multimedia in
conjunction that tells the STORY about the job.
• Ask a question
• Rather than search for people who are looking for jobs,
search for people who have the job/skills you are
looking for.
• Take advantage of the massive network your company
has already built.
• Empower others to activate networks. Instead of
“We’re hiring___” post “Who do you know that___?”

know about the culture here.
• What/how can you post on Linked In and
other social media that will communicate that
culture?
