everything into small chunks and distributes them across the entire network of computers. It's a digital ledger of
transactions that lacks a central control point.
Data that is stored in one central point is far more vulnerable to being compromised, which is exactly the opposite of
how dltledgers blockchain technology is built. By being a ledger of information that is distributed across various a
P2P network, we ensure the security of data by not having a single point of failure.
The most obvious difference is that public blockchains use computers connected to the public internet to validate
transactions and bundle them into blocks to add to the ledger. Any computer connected to the internet can join the
