 Riverside, CA based synthetic fuel company.
 Exclusive license to a new advanced gasification technology.
 Convert biomass, coal, waste & biosolids to high value fuels:
o Methane (CH4), Raw Natural Gas (RNG).
o Fischer-Tropsch Diesel / Jet fuel.
o Hydrogen (H2) & Electric Power.
 Focus on RNG production from Biomass, Coal-Biomass
Mix., Municipal Solid Waste (MSW).
 IP: 19 patents/patent applications
About Viresco Energy
Biomass, coal and other domestic resources can be converted
into synthetic fuels: – RNG, FT diesel, gasoline, jet fuel & electricity.
Any carbonaceous material can be converted by the Viresco process into
synthetic fuel.
What feedstocks can be used?
Biomass Organic
Wood, forest clearings
Crop waste, agricultural residues
Energy crops (switchgrass, corn stover)
Animal, municipal solid waste, biosolids
Fossil Organic
Coal
Petroleum Organic
Plastic (PVC, PUF)
Polymers (rubber, tires)

What is Gasification?
A thermo-chemical process converts any carbon-containing material into a
synthesis gas.
Carbon Source
(coal, wood, sewage, etc)
Gasifying agent
(O2, Steam, H2, etc)
Heat (700-2000ºC) H2, CO, CO2, CH4
 The synthesis gas can be used to produce different fuels & chemicals.
 Methane can be converted into Renewable Natural Gas (RNG).
 Low or negative-value feedstocks  Marketable fuels and products.

H2
 Steam Hydrogasification based – Avoids oxygen plant.
 Slurry feed – Pre-treated biomass/wastes & other feedstocks.
 Recycled Hydrogen.
Steam Hydrogasification
 Steam hydrogasification uses both steam and hydrogen to affect the
reaction.
CxHyOz + 2H2 CH4 + Others (CO, CO2)
CxHyOz + 2H2 + H2O CH4 + H2O + Others (CO, CO2, C2+)
 Steam hydrogasification also requires a supply of hydrogen, which can be
supplied by various processes, such as reformation of natural gas or
oxygen-steam gasification of char.
 The addition of steam into the gasifier promotes additional hydrogen
formation. This hydrogen can be separated and reused but the advantages
of this may be offset by the cost of gas separation.

What is Unique in Viresco Process
 As a Carrier for the Feedstock
 High pressure slurry pump.
 Can handle wet feedstock w/o drying.
 Enhancing the Reaction Rate
 Less residence time required.
 Feed for the Steam Methane Reformer
 Viresco Process uses less water per ton of feed compared to
other gasification processes
Most of the water is recycled.
What is Unique in Viresco Process……….Continued
 Self Sustainability
 Internal Hydrogen Feedback.
 No Oxygen Required
 Don’t need Expensive Air Separation Plant.
 Toxic or Air Pollution Emissions are below Health or Environmental
concern.
 Control H2/CO ratio by varying feed ratio.
 Fuels produced are compatible with existing vehicle and
distribution infrastructure.
Business Plans
Market Analysis:
 Natural gas production, demand & pricing forecast.
 Pricing by region/state – pipeline infrastructure availability.
 Anticipated high demand regions & sectors (industrial, home heating, etc)
