Descriptive Title: Current Trends, Issues, and Problems in
Education
Course Description:
For over a century, education has remained largely
unchanged. A classroom full of students deferring to the
wisdom of an all-knowing professor has been and many believe,
will continue to be the accepted mode of instruction. Despite
many technological advances and the introduction of new
pedagogical concepts, the majority of today's classrooms
continue to utilize this traditional model.

Descriptive Title: Current Trends, Issues, and Problems
in Education
Course Description:
Understanding education issues are important for students,
parents, and taxpayers. By being well-informed, you can
contribute valuable input to the discussion. You can also make
better decisions about what causes you will support or what
plans you will make for your future.

5. General Objectives:
1. To provide professionals opportunities for growth and
advancement in agriculture, education, management of
schools, and public constituents.
2. To develop desirable values, train graduate students to
become efficient and effective leaders, managers, teachers,
entrepreneurs, and rural community workers as agents for
development.
3. To develop the ability to undergo scholarly investigations
and research in disciplines such as public administration,
education, and community development.

6. COURSE SUBJECT OUTCOME :
At the end of the semester, the students are expected to:

in the Philippines
2. To determine the major issues in K to 12 curriculums
3. To discuss distance learning amidst pandemic
4. To confer on issues on access, quality, and relevance in basic
education
5. To deliberate the learning continuity plan (LCP)
