These are moral principles that govern
a person's behaviour or the conducting
of an activity.

structured examination of how we should
behave — in particular, how we should
constrain the pursuit of self-interest when our
actions affect others.

does not only prevail in the society but also in
business the aspect, since we interact with our

These are standards or values that are
generally based around conscientiousness.
Mostly, they are thought to benefit a person
morally, thereby improving their character.
These ethics can include preserving social
skills, being reliable, and being resourceful
wherever needed in a work setting.
Different types of Work Ethics:
● Honesty
● Integrity
● Perseverance
● Respect

Unethical behavior: Is an action that falls
outside of what is considered morally right or

businesses, professionals and politicians.

● Bribery
● Violence/ Abuse
● Fraud
● Falsifying documents/lying
● Favoritism
Impact of Unethical Practices:
Different unethical practices have effects on
both an individual and the society as a whole:
● Loss of confidence and trust from people
who look up to the person or the company.
● Loss to the company in terms of resources
and other financial aspects like cash money.

agreements by stakeholders and firing of
unethical employees.
● Lowered employee performance and
productivity.
● The incurrence of legal issues, including
suits due to different unethical practices.
