Dear Colleagues and Friends
We have pleasure in inviting you to attend and exhibit at an international and interdisciplinary
meeting exploring Horizons in Human Cells: At the interface of science, engineering, medicine &
society meeting, in Edinburgh, Scotland, 26-28rd May, 2014. Hosted by the University of Edinburgh
and held at the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, this event will incorporate established and new
focus groups, and feature practical skills and exhibitor workshops including:
European developments in human induced pluripotent stem cell banking for discovery and
therapy.
The 6th annual meeting of the Quasi-Vivo® Users group.
Practical skills training in human induced pluripotent stem cell culture hosted by Roslin Cells
Ltd.
Exhibitor led demonstrations and workshops showcasing new technologies and their
application to induced pluripotent stem cell culture.
Medical, legal, and ethical dimensions to personalised medicine
This Conference aims to create an interdisciplinary forum against which professional and trainees
working in the development, delivery, usage and regulation of human cells for discovery and therapy
can exchange knowledge and promote the field. It follows 5 prior annual events across Europe
hosted by leading academic researchers in related sub-specialities, broadly attended by delegates
working in development and use of in vitro methods for a variety of applications in toxicity, safety,
regenerative medicine and medical research.
Over these past five years a successful event format and lively community of participants has been
created in the fields of medicine, engineering, physics and social and economic sciences;
technologists in the fields of drug discovery, toxicology and disease modelling; equipment
manufacturers and cell culture technology developers as well as regulatory, legal and design
professionals. Exhibitors at the 2014 meeting can expect access to this community of academics and
will benefit from our careful selection of complementary and synergistic product and service offers.
You will not be surrounded by competitors but will see lots of companies that you can work with to
capture market share in the growing markets for 3D and flow cell culture.
We look forward to welcoming you to Edinburgh and encourage you to participate as an exhibitor
through one of our sponsorship packages or by contacting us to arrange a bespoke package for your
company
