Past Healthcare Management and Administrative experience
Currently working as a Manager-Quality/NABH Accreditation Coordinator at Chinmaya Mission
Hospital, (250 Bedded Multispecialty Hospital), CMH Road, Indiranagar, Bangalore from January
2015 till Date.
My Roles and Responsibilities include:
• Oversee compliance to NABH requirements and ensuring adherence to established Clinical & Non
Clinical protocols.
• Formulation of Strategic and Operational plan for the hospital including hospital’ expansion
projects.
• Implementing Quality Initiatives and Improvement project for key operational areas.
• Maintaining Operational tracker for Legal compliances, Maintenance and BME operations
• Re-engineering protocols for reported and observed process gaps.
• Data Analytics for management and presentation to indirect customers – including ROI and MIS.
• Quality Representative for all functional Hospital Committees.
• Leading: Medical record Audits, Medical & Patient Care Audits, Floor Audits, Active Audits,
Patient Satisfaction and Employee Satisfaction surveys, Mock drills, Facility Inspection rounds.
My management responsibilities include :
 Utilizing accreditation mechanisms and quality improvement tools to address the gap between
current and future quality performance.
 Creating and implementing a successful accreditation programme including best-practice
solutions for common challenges in sustaining accreditation.
 Responsible for data collection and analysis of KPI’s, Incident Reports and submit reports to
authorities.
 Should maintain and update controlled documents such as policies and procedures, and
 Participate in implementing quality improvement projects throughout the hospital.( Reduce
Average Length of Stay, Improve Discharge TAT, Reduce Operation Theatre first case delays)
I am also professionally engaged in as a Privileged as an Honorary Academician for MBA
(Healthcare Management) Course at Siddhaganga Institute of Technology (affiliated to VTU)
mainly responsible for setting the exam question papers, evaluations and guiding the students on
the hospital management projects.
Past Experience(s) :
1. Worked as Hospital Administrator and NABH Accreditation Coordinator at Yenepoya
Specialty, Kodialbial, Mangalore. (250 bedded Multi-Specialty Hospital) from April 2013 to 1st
November 2014. In the current scenario primarily looking after day-to-day operations as well as
Quality. The job responsibilities included-
a. To smoothen the functioning of all the departments – Clinical (Wards, ICU, Laboratory,
Radiology, Emergency etc. ) & Non-Clinical (HRD, Medical Record Dept., Maintenance
& Engineering Services, Front Office)
b. To develop & refine policies and procedures; to ensure implementation of the same
c. Coordinating, documentation and implementing NABH standard across various
departments of the hospital.
d. To establish continuous quality improvement activities leading to improved quality health
care services.
e. To ensure the coordination and integration of all quality improvement activities across the
departments of the Hospital.
f. Establish and prioritize performance indicators in all clinical, managerial, and technical
areas.
g. Collect data on actual performance and evaluate the degree of conformity to the standards
through audits.
h. Provide guidance and training to hospital staff on quality management principles.
i. Report quality improvement outcomes to the management and recommend measures to
improve health care processes.
j. Directing and supporting the Departmental Quality Improvement Teams (DQIT), Quality
Facilitators.
k. Supervise preparation for accreditation and mock surveys
l. Other activities included – chairing & coordinating committee meetings, supervising &
co-ordinating Safety rounds, Audits, Mock Drills.
2. Worked as a Lecturer-(hospital administration) cum coordinator for academic and
consultancy projects for MHA course at Acharya college of hospital administration, Bangalore
(Sep 2011 till April 2013).

My management responsibilities include :  Utilizing accreditation mechanisms and quality improvement tools to address the gap between current and future quality performance.  Creating and implementing a successful accreditation programme including best-practice solutions for common challenges in sustaining accreditation.
  • 2.  Responsible for data collection and analysis of KPI’s, Incident Reports and submit reports to authorities.  Should maintain and update controlled documents such as policies and procedures, and  Participate in implementing quality improvement projects throughout the hospital.( Reduce Average Length of Stay, Improve Discharge TAT, Reduce Operation Theatre first case delays) I am also professionally engaged in as a Privileged as an Honorary Academician for MBA (Healthcare Management) Course at Siddhaganga Institute of Technology (affiliated to VTU) mainly responsible for setting the exam question papers, evaluations and guiding the students on the hospital management projects. Past Experience(s) : 1. Worked as Hospital Administrator and NABH Accreditation Coordinator at Yenepoya Specialty, Kodialbial, Mangalore. (250 bedded Multi-Specialty Hospital) from April 2013 to 1st November 2014. In the current scenario primarily looking after day-to-day operations as well as Quality.
