In a warehouse management, material handling is commonly defined
as the “movement, protection, storage, and control of materials and
products throughout manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, consumption
and disposal”. The storage is the process of stocking materials. And this
process of stocking goods or materials is called as warehousing. The place
where the goods are stored is known as warehouse.
